Bath time

Aren't these puppies adorable? I wasn't planning on playing the gacha at Ephiphany but since it was only 50L a play, I told myself I'd do it twice and on my second draw, I got this rare Doggo Wash from Jian! I'm not a fan of gachas and I'll play it only if I don't mind what I get.

Moon is wearing a short and simple hairstyle from yumyum #85. If you're there, hit the group joiner which is free and get her free gifts in the notice which is the delicious Mango drink Moon is eating.

There is also Watermelon(pic above) and Green Tea too. Moon is also wearing a crocheted top from BUENO which I bought at Collobor88. Not done with shopping, I also bought those pretty Kira bracelets and rings from AvaWay at their Mainstore and eyes from MESANGE at We Love Roleplay.

While I was at the We Love Roleplay event, I also bought new 'clothes' for my Waterhorse, the Crusader Armor set and the pink colored Hud from Jinx. I mean, what girlie-girl wouldn't want to dress up her horse in PINK?

It's all about the Hair

As the title states, today's post is all about the hair. Dura and Eaters Coma came out with new styles and I went a bit excessive while at Eaters Coma.

 As usual, Moon is wearing Glance Anais skin and I've added eyeshadows from Kyoot Makeup - Cateyes I - Pack 1 (Basic Blacks) and lipstick from *Fishy Strawberry* Allure Makeup both of which are really old stuffs but I have the tendency to keep the things that still works until they break.

I am on a mission to shop for Carter. I've been itching to play with the shape sliders again and putting shapes on the marketplace again but Moon's inventory is already too heavy to add another 'build' category in it and I've been thinking of passing the 'job' to Carter.
It makes me giggle because men always say that women have a million alts and although I don't deny it because women are natural hoarders, I see no wrong in having multiple alts as long as it is not used negatively.
I use my alt when I want to be alone and I don't add friends on my alt.

Somehow, with Carter, I tend to have her wear very casual laidback outfits. The kind of outfits my elder daughter would wear. It will be a challenge to make mature shapes with her. Well, it is still a plan. Right now I am shopping for affordable skins. And clothes. And hair. And shoes.... the list is endless.

The little white dress

For a long time, I've always went back to wearing Elate Felicity in ice dress because I love how Moon looks wearing the layered dress. Now with Cynful latest The 'Shimmy' Dress in grey, which looks similar to the Felicity dress, I will be boxing up the dress. So far, I've boxed up almost all the items from the jacket folder. Boxing is not a fast process:(

I also shortened Moon by 2 both in height and legs. There doesn't seemed to be much difference.

hunting for today's cheapies

I went looking for freebies today. After browsing the fashion blogs, I went to the Black Fair to get some poses from Purple Poses. It's been a while since I bought poses and it was time for an update.

I then tried getting the stuffs I had demoed and from this month's Collarbor88 but it was so laggy, my linden balance kept on reverting to -1L and I had to get my other avatar to pay Moon 1L to get it back to normal.

Then after I accidentally bought the wrong product, I knew I had to get out before it happen again. So that means another day for shopping those stuffs.

I love low-rise flared jeans and crop tops so this hunt item was a must for me.

Hair Fair 2013 Brickness sim

The last Hair Fair sim I went to, I saw all these hair from Miamai and I went wow.... I've never bought any hair from this store before because they were all too fancy for me and I know Moon won't have any opportunity to wear them but these hair pieces were too pretty to pass, I had to collect them... at least for future photographs. And there is the good cause. So I quickly set my spending guilt aside.

Hair Fair 2013 Port Sim

I;m not sure if I already have a similar short hair style as this hair from Chichikie called Pepper. But even if I do, I probably have it in blonde. It's only now that I'm starting to collect dark coloured hair.
The sundress is from Finesmith and cost 89L for group members.

My modern house is almost finished except for the roof. So while I procrastinate on completing the roof, I decorated the poolside and  brought out Carter and pretend they're having barbeque.

Hair Fair 2013 Cloud Sim

I finally got into Hair Fair. I have to say, when the legos were small, they didn't look so imposing and glaringly bright. But it was an event to help children, so I guess legos make sense.

I thought I would do 1 sim at a time. There was a lot of great looking hair on the Cloud sim and if I had not made all sorts of excuses(like this hair looks similar to the one I have or this hair is too stiff even if it's pretty and this hair looks good only for photography blah blah blah), I would have spend more. I am trying very hard not to be spendthrift because I had already spend a lot on furnitures and then there were textures I had to get for the new house I am building.

Moon is wearing Lelutka Lorella. It comes with a wreath but I am using the Alice bow instead.

This hair looks so cute and fun, I had to have it. It's from a store I have never heard of before Xplosion Jules.

Right now I'm working on a modern contemporary house with swimming pool and even a garage! I know, pretty ambitious but I had to see if I could do it. That's the pool in both pictures. I haven't aligned the textures yet. Aligning textures are so tedious.

Moon is wearing hair from Magika Wait and old tee and jeans and boots. This is her outfit from the fast folder and the scripts from the boots have been deleted so this get-up is low script.

Then I tped to Truth to get the hair and hat combo but I still prefered the old Ween Cowboy hat from Reek but I love this Kerri hair with the texture-change headband.

Now to complete the house.

hair sale and missed opportunity

There is a hair sale going on at Magika at the moment until July 10th. I am shocked I only bought 2 pairs of hair. The hair Moon is wearing is called After. She is also wearing Maitreya's sarong Lust and Shiki wedges which she never seemed to take off. I really do want to buy her new shoes, but everytime I get excited seeing new shoes, it has to be paired with slink feet which I don't have and who knows when I'm going to get them for Moon.

I'm working on a new house and only the kitchen is furnished at the moment. I am inspired to do another classical contemporary home which to me means, it's an old design renovated to look new. This home is going to be big.

Missed opportunity. Today is my late father's birthday. He would have been 67 today but he died 20 years ago. I was never close to him but I still miss him because I wished I was. And talking about death, my brother died when he was 47. It makes me wonder if I would die somewhere in between.
