A super sexy little black dress. It's those cutouts at the waist that gets me.  I saw this dress on facebook a few days ago and waited for the soho event to open to get this dress.

Some gatcha items from the Arcade

I can't believe it's already Friday!

I finally made it into the Arcade. Things were rezzing very slowly, but because I knew what I wanted, I didn't need to see what was on the gatcha machine. I just needed to know where they were. Manouvering with the help of the mini map helps me not to bump into people although if there was lag, it doesn't work sometimes.

I think they all look great.  Leila makes Moon look youthful and mature at the same time while Candy is absolutely classy. It's those red lips of course. Alice is especially adorable because of the wide-eyed innocent stare and the slightly parted lips.

One Class Act

Nobody has to look bad on a low budget. And just because something is cheap, doesn't mean it's low quality. And just because you don't want to buy expensive stuffs doesn't mean you're not classy. I love searching for bargains. I can go on and on about affordable stuffs because I've been through the poor house and I know what it means to stretch the budget.

I was late getting to the Club tonight, but I did get to catch Mavenn and Griff Bamaisin perform. They were awesome as usual. They rock!

The best thing about being a partner in this club is that I don't have to go elsewhere to listen to rocking good music because lately my time on SL has been very busy.

Finally, at the 24 Event, I grabbed the limited edition chair from Bazar. When I left, there was only 3 left.

It comes in 2 styles with 2 different option each, making it 4 different kinds of styles.  A very good deal.

The little white dress

For a long time, I've always went back to wearing Elate Felicity in ice dress because I love how Moon looks wearing the layered dress. Now with Cynful latest The 'Shimmy' Dress in grey, which looks similar to the Felicity dress, I will be boxing up the dress. So far, I've boxed up almost all the items from the jacket folder. Boxing is not a fast process:(

I also shortened Moon by 2 both in height and legs. There doesn't seemed to be much difference.

Love Donna Flora Charity Event

Truth is, I have a difficult time expressing my feelings about illness and death because for a long time, I have had to suppress the overwhelming sense of helplessness, anger and sadness. My father had been a renal failure patient all of my grown-up life and I wasn't even sure he would see all his 3 grandchildren. And when he died, I stopped having anymore eventhough my wish was to have 5 broods. And there was also my own sense of failure, that I did not live up to his expectations.

I steer away from sadness as much as I can because I hate all these feelings coming to me.

I used to have a friend in SL who doesn't even want to know anything about anybody's sickness because to him, SL was a place for him to be happy. I guess once you have been in SL as long as I have, you cannot help knowing people who are ill, people who are flawed in one ways or the other because I myself come here to heal some parts of me that cannot be healed.

It is a heavier burden to bear than to see and if we can make a person feel they are loved and appreciated by such events, than half of the job is already done. Syabas!

This doll is not dead yet

While deciding what to build next, I went to the Summer Break Festival and found a store I never heard of before. Today all the dresses come from Dead Dollz.

Polka dots again. Baby Jane by Dead Dollz. Dead Dollz is a store I never expected to find anything I'd like to buy and yes I am guilty of judging a store by it's name. I thought it would be goth. I guess a stylist would be able to turn this sweet countrified dress into goth style, but not me. It just look sweet to me as it is without any embellishment. It has a hud with 2 colours. And I was bowled over by the way the texture look. That little bit of shimmer.

After I saw this dress, I went to the mainstore and was suitably impressed and bought more.

Next is Lullaby, another sweet dress. It has a hud with 3 colours. My avatar doesn't really have long legs, but the high heels and the ultra short hem makes it look like she does.Word of caution. You have to wear undies because the alpha layer doesn't cover the lower bits:p

I love figure hugging gowns. Lunggo Addio has a hud like the rest of the other dresses and this one comes in 3 colours.

And the special offer at the Festival is the bikini set. It comes with a hud with 5 colours.

The bikini top is versatile enough to wear with jeans, skirts or shorts.

Under the sea

Have you been to the Under the Sea Expo yet?
Lots of free hunt items. I really love that I don't need to tp from sim to sim to find them coz after a few times tping, I would crash without fail and being in the sim same defeats that. And I love it! I remember how it used to be that hunts were always on the same sim. I would rather have lag than crash anyday.
Isn't this hunt item from kittycats of a swimming cat adorable? Moon is also wearing a free Mermaid outfit from Evie's closet and whimsical seahorse rings on her fingers from House of Rain.
With this expo I have also made up my mind to make an underwater landscape and I've already set free a few dolphins on my water parcel. I let them roam too far so it is not so easy to take pics of all 3 of them together. Maybe next time.

of lags and patience and expos

I don't know if anyone has notice this, but where there are more mesh buildings, sims seem to lag badly. I don't understand it. I thought mesh was supposed to make things less laggy. Oh yes, now it's all about scripts but really is that true? I don't buy it because the lag now reminds me of how it used to be back in 2007. Yes that bad! Do I now have to upgrade my graphics card for the upteenth time just to prove that it is not script since my avatar move around with less than 50?

Anyway, I'll just be patient and keep on relogging if I keep on crashing because it has come to a point that I really don't want to keep on upgrading my computer. Especially since my son who is a computer geek tells me that I don't need to upgrade until next year.

Have you been to the Home Expo yet?

I love the garden and landscaping sets out there. I wish I had a huge plot of land to landscape and put my house like I used to do last year but the cons outweigh the pros so that will just be wishful thinking.

I have several more sims to explore but I crashed again so I decided to post this instead.

Soft Opening Chip's One Night Stand Club

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I started renovating Chip Takac's Club. Last night, we had a soft opening at the Club showcasing 3 singers, Chip Takacs, Bronze8020 and JoeSatriani Feden. He plans to have a show every month showcasing 3 singers or other artistic genres.
