Happy New Year 2016!

I wish all my friends, acquaintances and readers a very Happy New Year and I wish you all a better year than the year before.
I'm not one for resolutions, but for SL 2016, I hope I'll be doing more sim exploring and photography. I've really missed doing these. I also hope to continue building and be inspired by architectures and to continue my obsession of the KittyCats!
And, to end 2015, I am putting my Houseboat Village parcel as seen in the picture below up for sale for 30000L. It is an almost 1/8 sim, 7680sqm, 1757prims. It also has a protected and unblockable oceanfront, great for taking the boat for a spin.
If you're curious, take the LM here.

I had some time, so I took a short break at Calas Galadhon and took these 2 pictures.

*Update:
The Farshore Houseboat parcel is finally sold today 23/1!

Houseboat Village

I've completed my Houseboat Village. It's on a 1/8 parcel close to my store. I'll be leaving the houseboats there for a while till I get tired of seeing them.

You are all very welcome to come take a look at them and see these partial mesh buildings and see what we can still do with the good old prims!

The Summer Lake Boathouse

I love the house I am currently living in so much, I modified it into a boathouse!
Or houseboat. I always get confused.

The Summer Lake Boathouse is a smaller version of the Summer Island Lake House. You can turn it into a boathouse or a regular land house. Unlike the Summer Island Lake House, this house has an upper balcony. It also doesn't have the cat 'cave'. You can check that house here.

Vendor picture.

As with my other current houseboats, this house is open concept to safe on prims.

House specs:
71 land impact
21x17 base area
copy, mod, no transfer
unfurnished
*scripts are no mod

This house is now available for 225L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. You can also see the demo house at the in-world store.

With one more houseboat, I will complete my houseboat village. It looks complete in the picture above, but there is still an empty space for one more houseboat behind the Summer Lake Boathouse.

Quirky Faced Pots

The last time I wrote about the Arcade Gacha was in March. Since I spent most of my time in SL building and staring at my Kittycats, I don't have much time to shop. But, I do read the fashion and Seraphim blogs and when I saw the pictures of the Quirky Faced Pots in the Arcade Shopping Guide, I knew I would be visiting the Arcade this month. Who can resist these? I got into the Arcade a week later after all the early shoppers has had their gacha fix and the place was no longer jam packed.

Above is a picture of my Kittycats Raye and Josefina with the pots. I didn't get all of the pots but when I started getting too many doubles, I had to stop. I did get both the rares. I'll probably go back later to try get the rest. It really is irritating not to get the whole set, but I'm sure that's the whole idea of the gacha!

The Curacao Houseboat

I try to make another houseboat that is less than 50 land impact and came up with The Curacao Houseboat.
The The Curacao Houseboat is a small 2 storey house with 2 decks on both sides. To lessen the prim count, you could have only 1 deck but I thought it looked more charming with 2. As with most of my current houseboats, this is also an open space house.

Open space houses are always less in prim count so it's usually for the singles or couples.

The Marula Houseboat

This yellow and green Dutch inspired houseboat is a two-storey home with the open space concept for both upstairs and downstairs. The Marula Houseboat is similar to the The Red Barn Houseboat except it is slightly wider and has a more spacious upper floor with dormers.
