MaryJane's Log Cabin

A cold day at the beach.

This log cabin is 143 land impact with an area of 22x22. It has a front and back craftman-style porch.

It also has a lot of big dormer windows because I wanted it to look like a single-storey house but with that extra space upstairs. I didn't want the cabin to look high.

It has an open spaced kitchen and dining and living area. I have made a separate room with a double- door on the ground floor which can be turned into a bedroom or a more private living area. On the upper floor, it has a spacious landing with option to turn into a family area.

It has one large bedroom with a balcony overlooking the backyard. There is another smaller bedroom for the little kids at the opposite end of the landing area.

I had an idea of pine trees and wooden path surrounding this cabin and so I just had to add the landscaping too. And the deers. With the landscaping, MaryJane's Log Cabin is 280 land impact and has a 55x48 base.

This house would be perfect up on a mountain or by a lake. It can also be turned into a skybox.

The house is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. Some scripts are no mod.

MaryJane's Log Cabin is now available for 699L at my in-world store and the marketplace. Please see the demo at my in-world store.

Aegelmaere's Tudor Cottage

Aegelmaere's Tudor Cottage at dusk.

This Tudor-style cottage is not a small house. The entrance, with the tower and the post and beams and half timbers are on the dramatic side.
View of the entrance from outside with the 2 styles of bay windows.

View from the entrance.

View of the entrance from inside the house.
View of the side entrances.

View of the upper floor. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor. Perfect for a family.

View of one of the bedrooms with the bay window.

When I was building this house, I imagined a stable close by.
The stable is separate from the house. It would have been better if the stable was further but as I am building on a 4096 plot, and let's face it, avatars can't smell, so the whole set up is just cosy. Also, since the avie can't smell, I also made an attached room with a loft for the stable hand or as an extra place for the family.

And to complete what I had in mind, I added the landscaping.
I made the ivy-covered archway to separate the cottage and the stable.

As usual, they are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.

cottage: 191LI
stable: 95LI
landscape: 167LI
complete set: 453LI

There are 2 rezzer boxes. One for the cottage and another for the completed set. I did not put the stable in a rezzer because it is all linked together.

Aegelmaere's Tudor Cottage is available for 699L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. Please see the demo at my in-world store.

Phew! I'm glad that's finished!

Bunny Time

Biobreed has released their beta version bunny and it's free.

There are 5 females and 5 males in the beta folder. I'm letting only 3 out because I need the space. 1 male and 2 females.

You can also hold them. Just take them back into inventory and add. You'll probably need to edit a bit like I've done.

Before birthing, the sleeping bunnies come in cute baskets. Pink blankets for girls and blue blankets for boys. Once the beta is over the bunnies will disappear. At the moment you don't have to pay to feed them so now is the time to have fun with these adorable little hoppers and not worry about your linden budget. Just worry if you have enough prims! Each bunny is 12 prims.

You can get your bunnies at the Biobreed Mainstore here. You'll also need to wear the group tag to get the bunnies. Group is free.

Seamus Lake House

Seamus Lake House is 151 land impact with an area of roughly 31x23. It is another version of my Lake House. The first one was the Summer Island Lake House which you can read here.

This house has several levels.
On the first floor, it has the decks with double doors that leads into the living/dining area and the kitchen. There is a back entrance near the stairs that goes up to the second floor. There is also a small room next to the stairs.
The staircase leads to a spacious family/entertainment area. There are 2 rooms on this floor. The double doors leads out onto a large balcony. From this balcony, one can go down the stairs to the gardens below. You can also enter one of the rooms through another double door.
The third floor which is part of the roof is a usable spacious attic. The fourth floor has a small room with a double door that leads onto a small balcony. Here is the highest point of the house and you have a great view.
I felt the house was incomplete without landscaping and so I have made a little hill to set the house on and added a small forest and path around it. I have also added a couple of deers in the backyard.
The house itself is 151 land impact on a 31x23 area while the landscaping is 162 land impact on a 60x48 base. This would make a good skybox too. I have made 3 rezzer boxes, one for the house only, one for the landscaping only and one for the house and landscaping together.
As usual, my houses are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm

This is another of my Red Barn series.

MaryJane's Red Barn House is 115 land impact and sits on a 32x20 area.

As in the picture, it is a double storey-house with a front porch and 3 dormers. Apart from the single door entrance, there is also the double-door that leads out to the porch. There is also another door that leads to the kitchen area.

Here's a side view of the house.

The living/dining area.

The kitchen area.

The open area upstairs with a dormer on one side and 2 sun-roof on the other side to let the lights in.

The 2 rooms upstairs.

After finishing the house, I felt that it was incomplete without a horse stable and so I did one:)

This stable has 3 spacious stalls. I built it specifically for the ABC horses because they are BIG horses. Each stall can fit a mare and her baby comfortably. I also fitted fences upfront so that I can watch the horses graze from the front porch.

And since it is a little farm, I also added small plots of earth for vegetables. In the picture above,  there are the apple tree plot, the lettuce plot and the carrot plot.

A view of the little horse farm from above.

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm sits on a 53x48 base. Altogether it is 317 land impact. The stable is 51 land impact while the landscaping is 137. The fences is 14.

As usual, they are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.

The Lady in Red Townhouse

It's been a while since I made a Townhouse and The Lady in Red is a 3-storey old-style City home. It is narrow and long and the porch is heavily decorated thus I named her the Lady in Red.

This building can be for a large family or a hostel or even a small hotel. It has a long foyer entrance with beautiful wallpaper, double-doors that leads to the kitchen and living/reception area. It has a large kitchen with a back door.

It also has 3 rooms each on the second and third floor.

The above picture is the 2nd floor corridor and the 3 rooms with different wallpapers.

View of the 3rd floor corridor and the different wallpapers in the 3 rooms.

The building is 148LI and 11.5 x 27.5. I have also included optional landscaping which is 19LI.

The Lady in Red Townhouse is copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod. It is available for 599L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. A demo of the house is available for viewing at my in-world store.
