Seamus Farmhouse & Stable

 After getting my cute horse, I was inspired to build a small house with a stable.

This is double-story farmhouse with the stable next to it. The house has a fenced verandah coz we don't want the horse to hang around there and poop do we? 

Inside, the living, dining and kitchen areas have separate rooms. Upstairs is a small landing space that leads to a bathroom and the bedroom.

Seamus Farmhouse&Stable is 95 land impact and needs a 25x20 area. It is copy, mod, no trans and partial mesh.

I have included a REZZER for easy positioning. I have also included just the farmhouse and the stable separately and I have also included another version of the stable with more windows. The farmhouse is 74LI, stable1 is 21LI and stable2 is 27LI.

Just a farmgirl

Sometimes, I find myself quite at a lost in SL, when building houses or going to music venues is no longer satisfying. It's not that I no longer like building, just that I haven't been inspired much.

When my friend asked me to join them in Gor, I was apprehensive because of my negative perception of it's origin. The truth is, you make your own story and you should not allow yourself to agree to do anything you don't want. Walk away if you don't like what you see or what they want you to do. You really do have a choice. Respect each other's limitations. 

The tavern pictured above was practically my roleplay character, ChibiMoon's second home.

She would hang around in the tavern to meet people. Or just read a book.

After a month or so, I was introduced to the G&S system. It was fishing! 

I did catch a big Tuna at a fishing tournament, but it wasn't big enough to win a prize. That fish was bigger than Chibi! And yes, that is an almost naked man's butt peaking out from the bench LMAO!

The Jian dogs guarding the Kalana tree. It's fruits Chibi uses to make cakes. The G&S system feels like I am playing sims4 except I get to interact with people in SL.

The cakes! And tea, of course. Those are really pretty looking cakes, except if you eat them, they are gone forever because they are use to increase the energy on the G&S hud.

And today, the chickens came. Eggs and poultry.

Chibi's brother and sister-in-law are bad-ass pirates, but I have a feeling, she is just a homely farmgirl!

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm

This is another of my Red Barn series.

MaryJane's Red Barn House is 115 land impact and sits on a 32x20 area.

As in the picture, it is a double storey-house with a front porch and 3 dormers. Apart from the single door entrance, there is also the double-door that leads out to the porch. There is also another door that leads to the kitchen area.

After finishing the house, I felt that it was incomplete without a horse stable and so I did one:)

This stable has 3 spacious stalls. I built it specifically for the ABC horses because they are BIG horses. Each stall can fit a mare and her baby comfortably. I also fitted fences upfront so that I can watch the horses graze from the front porch.

And since it is a little farm, I also added small plots of earth for vegetables. In the picture above,  there are the apple tree plot, the lettuce plot and the carrot plot.

MaryJane's Little Horse Farm sits on a 53x48 base. Altogether it is 317 land impact. The stable is 51 land impact while the landscaping is 137. The fences is 14.

As usual, they are copy, mod, no transfer, partial mesh and unfurnished. Some scripts are no mod.

Converted Red Barn

Here is my take on a converted red barn.

I have quite a large herd of horses and ponies now and I thought a red barn house would look great on my seaside parcel. At least till the next house comes along. Above are my male costume ponies which I don't want to breed and I don't want to send to the cloud ranch up in the sky. I'm a sucker for costumed animals. They're so adorable!

On to the interior of the house:

It's a simple open floorplan single-storey home with end to end double-doors and high ceilings and lots of big windows.

There are 2 partitioned rooms but no doors.

Just lots of space.

And great views.

The Bailey Red Barn Family House

I've wanted to build another red barn after I did the Red Barn Houseboat and this one is a 3-storey house with a horse barn on the side. I imagined a family living in this house with children who are excited about living in a barn!

The landscaping took a while to complete until I realised that a farm wouldn't look complete without sunflowers and vegetable plots. At least in Summer.

The Bailey Red Barn Family Ranch comes in 3 parts. The main is the Bailey Red Barn House which is 118LI with a base area of 28x34. The other parts, which is the Red Barn Stable and the Landscaping are optional features which I feel completed the feel of a ranch or farm.

I have also added privacy screens with mountain scenes which means you could turn this into a skybox too.

I have made 3 rezzers for the Bailey Red Barn Family House; first just the Bailey Red Barn Family House, second, just the Red Barn Stable and third, the The Bailey Family Red Barn Farm House which includes both the Family House, Stable and landscaping.

The Bailey was a challenge for me to complete because I was in a dilemma whether to add more landscaping and decors to it but I think I have balanced it out well. In the end, a house becomes a home with your own furnishing touches and not mine. Also, it is the house that I am selling and the others are just the icing(optional).
