SL is for having fun!

 I have not been inspired to build since I got my Jesse(Icelandic Horse). So, it has been a lot of riding, exploring, going to live music events and even sailing. Which is FUN! I have pictures of my adventures posted on Primfeed if interested. I am no longer using Flickr or FB.

I've also been taking dressage lessons at Regal Mane Equestrian. I want to learn it too fast but my fingers are not cooperating on the WASD and EC keys. It is frustrating, but I will persevere. Picture above is from my third class. Horse avatars are welcome too.

Somewhere on Blake Sea with it's expansive stretch of water is a good place to go sailing.... slowly.

I am loving the look below. I had to change back to Lara because that is an old Blueberry Ela jacket from the Good Vibe pack and the top doesn't fit LaraX even when I tried manually using the alpha hud. Glasses is from a freebie from A&D during past Shop&Hop. Hair is from Tram. Necklace is from Kibitz. The only items new are the jeans and sneakers which are from The Kiwi Co Opalite.

Flying the Bumblebee

Paris Metro has a new group gift, the Bumblebee Helicopter.

Since my water parcel has now been blocked by jetties and it's a very tight squeeze to take the boat out to sea, I'm using the Bumblebee Helicopter to fly and explore the Blake Sea areas.

I used the default windlight with medium graphic setting because I didn't want to risk crashing every time I cross a sim, but the draw distance was over 300 so it was a good flight.

Then for post processing, I used Pixlr, my go to photo editor. It's not my best, but it was the flying and exploring that was more fun. I've been so cooped up on my building platform I needed a break.

While I was flying, it occurred to me that I don't see any of my builds, so I looked around and found a couple.

Kitties' Day Out

Yesterday I went exploring with my Pink KittyCats to Kekeland on Time After Midnight sim.

Sometimes it's really fun to just go sim hopping.

And just take in the landscape.

And take pictures.

Halloween Ride

I took time out from my usually boring schedule to check out this Halloween Ride at the Haunted Mansion.

This has been going on for 8 years so you can imagine the effort and dedication put by the owner.

All bundled up

I was feeling worn out and decided to visit Calas Galadhon.

It started with the sale at coldlogic and I bought the coldLogic coat - golding.crema. I coloured the skirt part plum and wore an old system and sculpt top from fri. - Basic.Turtleneck (Plum). The thights are from last year's  INDI Designs - Knit Tights. Also old stuffs are the groupgifts from TRUTH scarf Lygon Scarf[charcoal stripe] and mittens from DCNY Mesh_Holiday Gift 2011 Cozy Mittens_All Colors which came with a hud.
My favorite hair and hat match-up is from ::Exile:: A Winter's Tale: Naturals which I also wear off winter season.
The only other new item are the boots ! LQMesh Overknees Boots KIM - REDGRAVE (RGP0300005) which allows me to have so many colour and texture options.
Then off to Calas Galadhon.

Then I got a tp to a music venue where we took pictures and listened to live music performance.

Exploring Monti Carlo Resort & Gaming

Today's post has nothing to do with dresses.

Yesterday, between taking pictures for the previous post, my long time friend Sergio invited me to his sim. It wasn't the first time, but this time, I made an effort to go because you know, it's not good to always say you're busy even if you are. Sometimes, you just have to drop whatever it is you're doing and go look at what your friends are up to and not just hear them talk about it.

Sergio has had his sim for a while now and he's a also a builder like myself. Although he doesn't upload his builds onto the marketplace or sell them anywhere else. He just builds for his sim.

He's turned his land into a residential/commercial sim.

Stomping the grapes! Ok, I should have taken off the boots but this is not rl so what the heck:) It does make me wonder if the wine's tastiness has anything to do with that fungi in blue cheese that is also connected to smelly foot. Can I say eeew and yummy at the same time?

Sergio has the green thumb. He's potting around.

Sergio said the boardwalk and the beach reminded him of Atlantic City.

All I can think of is, this would be a great place for me to take pics for my blogging! Or yours too!

Boating around the Sea

You don't need an expensive water vehicle to go sailing. I'm using a freebie boat I found on the marketplace.

I started off from Schilli and sailed down to Half Hitch in the Blake Sea and made a round trip back. My graphics was medium but the draw distance was over 300. Amazingly, after crossing multiple sims, I didn't crash.

Returning home. I edited these pictures using different types of effects on picmonkey.

Summer Fair at Aero Pine Park

After doing the Monday Meme, I caught the exploring bug and it so happened that I saw a post on google+ about the Summer Fair at Aero Pine Park yesterday and made a mental note to go there as soon as possible. After all, summer is almost over for people in the north and who knows how long the fair will be open.

I've pixlred my pictures so that it would look pretty for me:) A larger version(4000x2100) will be on my flickr later. I'm enjoying taking landscape pictures again.

I went to the Fair on my own so it wasn't as fun as it would have been if I had company. You can't giggle and squeal when you're driving the bumper car and there's nobody to bump into or get high on the ferris wheel but the snapshots compensate that. So drag a friend or two to the Fair and have fun!

I was boxing up tops when one of the blouses got me into a dilemma whether I should box it or let it because I still have great attachment for the style and so I put it on and got into a styling mode.... but you know, in the end, this is what came out of that mode:
