Utterly adorable with those baby cheeks and round eyes! theSkinnery group is FREE at the moment, so go grab it. Unfortunately, this gift only comes for the head and not the body. Fortunately for me, I had an older skin which matches.

My wish this year is that you and I will all have a wonderful 2019!

I am so glad 2018 is over. It had been a very trauma-filled year. It forced me on a journey of getting to know myself and I am a better person for that. Thank You God.

Just before the new year, I took time off building to get some freebies. Who doesn't love freebies hmm? Above is a pic of Moon wearing a free skin from Clef de Peau called Diana. The hair and jumpsuit are old Analog Dog hair and old freebie from *COCO* which is still available.

I also updated my original avie Carter to bento using the freebie full body bento gift from Altamura called Clodet. This is their Teleport Hub gift so you need to wear your Teleport Hub tag to get this. The group is 10L. It is such an incredible bargain! Thank you so much Altamura for giving us this gift! Carter is also wearing an old Analog Dog hair called Ging.

I must say, I am impressed with these good quality freebies and they have inspired me to do a better job of giving out good freebies too in the future!

My Kitty's Tree House

While in the process of building a tree house, I took a break to built this tree house for my precious virtual kittens to set home to.

And it's also a freebie. You can get it at my in-world stores in Farshore, Besma or Too Adorable.

This is how the stretched out version of the Tree House looks like on my pets' parcel.

The Kitty's Tree House is built with old prim sculpt except for the platforms which are old prims. It is modifiable and you can stretch it to ginormous size and the tree house will still be 8 prims. As a big tree house, you can also share it with your kittens as I have done:)

I have also made it phantom because I didn't want my kittens or my other virtual pets to keep on banging against the tree. Basically, you set your kittens home on the platforms and when they wake up, they will jump down onto the ground.

Since it is modifiable, you can also untick the phantom while in edit mode. You can mod the tree any way you like:)

Aldo's Cabin Freebie

Every end of the year I try to build a low prim house as a gift and this year I've made Aldo's Cabin, a single room A-Frame Cabin.

Aldo's Cabin, named after my Le Tigre Bengal Menagerie KittyCat is only 9 land impact with a 12 by 12 base.

Above is a picture of the cabin all decked up in winter season with snowman and snow. The cabin is actually unfurnished with no snow add-ons. Once winter is over, this cabin would be perfect next to a beach and anywhere you want.

It is big enough for 1 person as you can see in the picture above.

Aldo's Cabin is TRANSFER ONLY. It's not on the marketplace but you can get it at my in-world store.

Flying the Bumblebee

Paris Metro has a new group gift, the Bumblebee Helicopter.

Since my water parcel has now been blocked by jetties and it's a very tight squeeze to take the boat out to sea, I'm using the Bumblebee Helicopter to fly and explore the Blake Sea areas.

I used the default windlight with medium graphic setting because I didn't want to risk crashing every time I cross a sim, but the draw distance was over 300 so it was a good flight.

Then for post processing, I used Pixlr, my go to photo editor. It's not my best, but it was the flying and exploring that was more fun. I've been so cooped up on my building platform I needed a break.

While I was flying, it occurred to me that I don't see any of my builds, so I looked around and found a couple.

Happy Birthday KittyCats

KittyCats has turned 5 and with their birthday, they've given us twin kitties!

These kitties are wearing some colourful costumes which are a combination of the past years' birthday kitties' costumes. They remind me of the colourful Mardi Gras.

At the moment I'm not building any new houses. I've been busy turning my little parcel into my KittyCats' Home and Garden and it's still an ongoing process. The house is still the Summer Island Lake House but extensively renovated. I'm happy that my kitties can now roam around further than they used to. I've even put out my Bloodhound from Virtual Kennel Club(VKC) and it's so funny watching him try to get into ridiculous places and even climbing up the roof of the house! But he sure loves the kitties and always hang around them.

Little Tiki Hut for Free

It's been a while since I've made a freebie house but when I was building the last of the Tiki Tropicana Resort Home series, I thought the separate Tiki bar would make a great freebie. I discarded a few more prims and downed it to 4 land impact.

The Chill Out Tiki Hut is 8x8 and the roof is mesh while the rest are regular good old prim.

Figure Skating & Holiday Gift

Anyone who has ever tried taking pictures of a skating avatar would know how difficult that is. So when I saw that Nantra has made a set of skating poses for this round at the CSR, I immediately went and bought the set. At 70L it's a bargain.
I didn't have any skating outfits for Moon. Usually, I would take her to Calas Galadhon in her jeans and sweater or cardigan and take pictures there. This time I had a skating rink in my skybox and the static skating poses so I thought I would make a simple skating outfit.

While I was snapping these pictures, I thought this dress would be a good gift for the holiday and coming New Year. The flexi skirt is modifiable. Double the fun

I always enjoy posing Moon and Carter together even though my pc protests.

Both girls are wearing Revanche in these pictures. They're not mesh and they're tailored for applier-wearing girls but I love the bright striking prints and these clothings are affordable if you get them during Fi*Fridays week. I didn't have enough time to accessorized them but I think minimalism looks good especially as the the prints are already 'busy'.
