Summer Tan in SL

Moon has put on a tan. I got the free Sarah Deetalez Fatpack Gift from Essential Inventory for SL premium members and decided that it was time to get some golden tan.

I chose Eastern for my tan.

And then I added wrinkles, freckles and nose shadings from Izzie's. No makeup is involved.

I am using Camila Lelutka EvoX head. I also tweaked the face shape slightly different from my previous face skin. I am also using Firestorm Ultra and PBR Nacon Summer Noon Windlight and I moved the sun so that there wouldn't be too much shadow on the face. Yes, all these 'operations' is time consuming and seems to take forever which is why I greatly appreciate all the fashionistas and photographers:)

Still snowing in some places

This is actually a freebie post, but my little plot is still snowing despite the already pink spring-Valentine theme landscaping. This is a virtual world you know so anything goes. And I really adore those pink floral flamingos I bought from Simply Shelby last year and I had to bring it out already.

The boots are a groupgift *COCO*_Gift_KneeBoots_Brown

The hair is a groupgift from Mina called Adeline.

The head is the groupgift Lelutka Vela which I have reshaped.

The face skin is a freebie from Deetalez Megan2 no brows and the eyebrow is from a past Nuve freebie gift called Emily.

The jeans is very, very, very old BOM(it was not called BOM back then) and when I got it, it was not free and I think most don't even know about the brand. It was Armidi. It has served well over the years.

Finally, another AI rendered painting inspired from the famous Starry Starry Night! 2 moons(maybe3 if included avie moon) is quite out of this world!!

Snowed in Pink

 

Riot has a new group gift out - the woolen hat and mitten with multi-coloured hud.

The hat doesn't come with hair, but during the recent Black Friday sale, I purchased the Spirit hair from Stealthic which had an equestrian hat and I figured the hair would fit with this hat too. I now believe that it would also fit with other hats. Hmmm...

The pink top is from last week's Weekend sale at Neve. It also comes with multi-coloured and pattern hud. I didn't get the skirt because I hardly ever wear one nowadays. Always on the horse you know.

The jeans is from The Kiwi and it also comes with a multi-coloured hud. I think you see the pattern now... I am making my SL life simpler :)

The heart necklace and earrings are from Cae, from long ago.

This picture was taken at the Calas Midwinter sim, about an hour before show began and I used that opportunity to take an ultra graphic shot before the sim filled up and lag started. I love the way the flexi skirt moved but it was horrible in a sitting pose. Well, it looked great when dancing!

The hair is Unruly from Doux. The earrings, choker and bracelet are from Kibitz.

The gown is from GGVG Fashion and I bought it last winter with their store credit giveaway. This year, they gave us an outfit. Even without the store credit, the price is reasonable. I still remember when gowns used to cost over 1K linden coz I accidentally clicked on one a long, long time ago when a store was having a hunt... Imagine that!! Ugh!! To place a freebie real close to a buy smh

Last, I have not 1 but 2 AI rendered paintings!!

AI is definitely making my avatar look gorgeous. I think after all the thumbs down I gave, the programming finally computed what I wanted.

The Second Life Avatar Challenge by Strawberry Singh is fun. I like tweaking my avatar's features and see what I can come up with. In 3 months I will have been in SL 12 years! How time flies...

Happy New Year!

My wish this year is that you and I will all have a wonderful 2019!

I am so glad 2018 is over. It had been a very trauma-filled year. It forced me on a journey of getting to know myself and I am a better person for that. Thank You God.

Just before the new year, I took time off building to get some freebies. Who doesn't love freebies hmm? Above is a pic of Moon wearing a free skin from Clef de Peau called Diana. The hair and jumpsuit are old Analog Dog hair and old freebie from *COCO* which is still available.

I also updated my original avie Carter to bento using the freebie full body bento gift from Altamura called Clodet. This is their Teleport Hub gift so you need to wear your Teleport Hub tag to get this. The group is 10L. It is such an incredible bargain! Thank you so much Altamura for giving us this gift! Carter is also wearing an old Analog Dog hair called Ging.

I must say, I am impressed with these good quality freebies and they have inspired me to do a better job of giving out good freebies too in the future!

Season of Change

The day before Lelutka had their mesh head update, I was tweaking my avie's face shape. I was becoming bored of her face. I use Lelutka Simone Mesh Head and Dee TaleZ Hettie.

On the left is Moon3.0 while on the right is Moon3.2. I had to re-tweek the eyes because the updated version made the eyes from the previous shape too big and it was a relief that the outer corner eye can finally be moved up or down. I was really happy that I could tweak the mouth shape into this cute pouty version. Congrats to the Lelutka Team! I can't stop staring at Moon!

 For the moment, Moon will be having dark brown eyes. Neve is having a sale and I figured it was time to update Moon's wardrobe to reflect her youthfulness. The hair is from the recent FLF DPYumYum.

I also splurged on this new release from Neve at the Tres Chic Event and the Galina hair from Doe at the Tannenbaum Event. Those fringed boots were from Bueno for the recent Saturday Sale.

And of course, those cute pups from Jian. Moon rarely leaves home without at least one pet companion!

Now that I've indulged in the guilty pleasure of spending, I'll go back to building!

the Pair...finally

After what feels like forever, I finally got my pair of Silver Tobiano Snowflakes Gypsy Vanners.

They're both offsprings of Moonlight Rendezvous(pictured below) but from different mothers. They even have stars on their face which daddy doesn't have. The downside is that neither have matching mane and tails.

Breeding horses are expensive in my opinion. These beauties give birth to live foals and you can't box them and keep them in your inventory. Which means your herd will multiply exponentially and if you don't have the lindens and the prim space, you'll have to start sending them to the cloud ranch even if it breaks your heart. It's also difficult to get the traits that I want because I have no idea which are dominant and recessive.

I had to send some of my pretty Sorrel Leopard Bashir Curlies to the cloud ranch. That hurt.

But that didn't stop me from getting a pair of these starter costume horses, last year's Day of the Dead. The horse in the middle is a Lusitano with the 2014 Anniversary coat. And that KittyCat sitting on the haystack is Amos my 1368-day-old Day of the Dead kitty. They're all ready for Halloween!

The past 2 weeks Moon has been wearing last year's Halloween Gift from Coco and riding on La Bella. It was only fair to take a picture with my beloved Amos, MaryJane and Cassandra too. I had to take out the pumpkins in the crate coz MaryJane wanted to sit in it. Typical cat!

Moon and Ave Maria my Black Tovero Mustang. Today I got tired of the witchy outfit and changed into this year's Halloween Gift from Coco. Moon is also wearing leggings Neve, hair from Exile and shoes from {kokoia}.

I took the first and last picture on ultra high for the shadows while the others were on med graphics. I don't know. I kinda prefer the medium graphics.

a little bit Country

My little parcel is now a little ranch. The horses have out numbered the cats and the dogs. This month the Liaison Collaborative has gone Country Chic and while I was there, I bought the Dakota Bandana Top and Jacket from GO! so is the pose by [evoLove]. The hair and hat is from Argrace and the jeans from JustBecause.

Most of my kitties are now over 120 days old and no longer breedable except for the remaining 2 pairs of Toyger Tans Kittycats. Above is another pose by [evoLove] and Moon is wearing Undone Top by Neve from the same event. The hair is from Diva! and the necklace from Maxi Gossamer.

And Jinx has a texture Hud for your Water Horse Bento Riding Horse out at the Liaison Collaborative called Country Mane where the horse's mane is plaited into a diamond-shaped net. You also get to add daisies on the plaited mane and the forelock.

Pretty don't you think? In the 2 picture above, Moon is wearing the very lovely flower head accessory called Bagatiba by LODE at this month's Chapter Four. This is a Gacha item. The hair is from LittleBones and the dress is from Schadenfreude.

Feels like Spring

                                 

This is one of the many pretty hairstyle you can get from Magarita of Truth Hair at Uber this round. I like that it also has daisies which are optional. I chose blonde because I'm into that colour at the moment. Eventhough it's Summer, it feels like Spring. 

I wanted to get the Lexie Hair from Entwined but I'm not a gambling girl. I wanted only the blonde hair and so I searched the Marketplace and found one in dark blonde. 

Uber is 3 years old and as their birthday, they've invited friends to their bash and KittyCats was invited. Of course I had to get them. These 2 cats will even give birth to a special baby the first time.

Above are my furbabies from past years. Aren't they just so adorable in their costumes? I just had to show them off... 

It's no burden when you love them

There is less than a week left to Hair Fair 2017.

Here is Moon with Jackie Maine my bento Water Horse with pretty ribbons and flowers in her mane which I bought from Jinx. Moon is wearing hair from Yse called Favor which I bought at the Hair Fair. I've been looking for hair that can be tucked behind the ears. There is also a hud with 4 slightly different variations.

The necklace and earrings Moon is wearing is a group gift freebie from Heartsdale Jewellery[HJ] which I happened upon when I wandered into SWANK. Today Moon is wearing a different eyeliner and lipstick from the Deetalez Monica makeup HUD for a close-up picture.

My Zebras finally had their baby! It felt like forever waiting for my mare to pop her foal. Unlike my other breedables, the foal comes out live and for the first 3 days, her mother nurses her. I haven't seen any nursing animations and I'm not sure if there are. I'll have to find out.

I'm waiting for my Zebras to give birth.
