a little bit Country

My little parcel is now a little ranch. The horses have out numbered the cats and the dogs. This month the Liaison Collaborative has gone Country Chic and while I was there, I bought the Dakota Bandana Top and Jacket from GO! so is the pose by [evoLove]. The hair and hat is from Argrace and the jeans from JustBecause.

Most of my kitties are now over 120 days old and no longer breedable except for the remaining 2 pairs of Toyger Tans Kittycats. Above is another pose by [evoLove] and Moon is wearing Undone Top by Neve from the same event. The hair is from Diva! and the necklace from Maxi Gossamer.

And Jinx has a texture Hud for your Water Horse Bento Riding Horse out at the Liaison Collaborative called Country Mane where the horse's mane is plaited into a diamond-shaped net. You also get to add daisies on the plaited mane and the forelock.

Pretty don't you think? In the 2 picture above, Moon is wearing the very lovely flower head accessory called Bagatiba by LODE at this month's Chapter Four. This is a Gacha item. The hair is from LittleBones and the dress is from Schadenfreude.

Jackie Maine

Today is all about Jackie Maine.

I am so enamored of Jackie Maine, my bento riding Water Horse. She has a closet full of 'dresses' and Jinx has given a free flower 'dress' for the bento riding horse at the Water Horse Creator Fair. This 'dress' is actually from a HUD and if you've bought her other Fantasy Horse Markings, you'll be able to use this free HUD. These pictures were taken at the Calas Galadhon sims. There is even a rideable demo of the bento riding horse and you can try it here.

Water Horse is also celebrating their Riding Horse with a kick-off party and I was there for a while with a whole lot of other horse lovers. I didn't stay long because I also wanted to see the ABC horse racing which was going on at the same time. I didn't know there were horse racings in SL eventhough I've been in SL a long time.

The horses and jockeys flew past me.

There were 2 races. This one was a steeplechase. I had to google. Wiki defines steeplechase as a distance horse race in which competitors are required to jump diverse fence and ditch obstacles. Ok I copy pasted that. All this while I thought it meant the horse was chasing something O.O

Bath time

Aren't these puppies adorable? I wasn't planning on playing the gacha at Ephiphany but since it was only 50L a play, I told myself I'd do it twice and on my second draw, I got this rare Doggo Wash from Jian! I'm not a fan of gachas and I'll play it only if I don't mind what I get.

There is also Watermelon(pic above) and Green Tea too. Moon is also wearing a crocheted top from BUENO which I bought at Collobor88. Not done with shopping, I also bought those pretty Kira bracelets and rings from AvaWay at their Mainstore and eyes from MESANGE at We Love Roleplay.

While I was at the We Love Roleplay event, I also bought new 'clothes' for my Waterhorse, the Crusader Armor set and the pink colored Hud from Jinx. I mean, what girlie-girl wouldn't want to dress up her horse in PINK?

It's no burden when you love them

There is less than a week left to Hair Fair 2017.

Here is Moon with Jackie Maine my bento Water Horse with pretty ribbons and flowers in her mane which I bought from Jinx. Moon is wearing hair from Yse called Favor which I bought at the Hair Fair. I've been looking for hair that can be tucked behind the ears. There is also a hud with 4 slightly different variations.

The necklace and earrings Moon is wearing is a group gift freebie from Heartsdale Jewellery[HJ] which I happened upon when I wandered into SWANK. Today Moon is wearing a different eyeliner and lipstick from the Deetalez Monica makeup HUD for a close-up picture.

My Zebras finally had their baby! It felt like forever waiting for my mare to pop her foal. Unlike my other breedables, the foal comes out live and for the first 3 days, her mother nurses her. I haven't seen any nursing animations and I'm not sure if there are. I'll have to find out.

On a day like today

Hair Fair 2017 is going on right now.

And this hair I bought from Exile at the Hair Fair which Moon is wearing seems to be all over the blogs and flickr pages. I can't blame them. I love, love, love the hairstyle too! That's Jack my grown-up Bulldog with Moon.

The top Moon is wearing is a freebie groupgift from COCO. The jeans are from Just Because which I bought from the Marketplace. It is so difficult to find a pair of straight leg non-booootilicious slightly flared pants nowadays. Moon is also wearing sandals from KOKOIA.

After the Art Museum, it was time to go riding with Jackie. Jackie is my Water Horse and she's a Bento wearable so that means you can take her anywhere and she moves and fidgets like a real horse too. She's now a white horse with blue markings that I got from Jinx at the Fantasy Collective. It's so exciting that I can also dress up my horse!

Last, here are my pink BioBreeds Boxers. I had no idea they would grow this huge! My KittyCat Ramses the Mummy wanted to be in the photo too. KittyCats just love taking pictures. Everyday they would come up to Moon and ask to have photoshoots together:)
