hair sale and missed opportunity

There is a hair sale going on at Magika at the moment until July 10th. I am shocked I only bought 2 pairs of hair. The hair Moon is wearing is called After. She is also wearing Maitreya's sarong Lust and Shiki wedges which she never seemed to take off. I really do want to buy her new shoes, but everytime I get excited seeing new shoes, it has to be paired with slink feet which I don't have and who knows when I'm going to get them for Moon.

I'm working on a new house and only the kitchen is furnished at the moment. I am inspired to do another classical contemporary home which to me means, it's an old design renovated to look new. This home is going to be big.

Missed opportunity. Today is my late father's birthday. He would have been 67 today but he died 20 years ago. I was never close to him but I still miss him because I wished I was. And talking about death, my brother died when he was 47. It makes me wonder if I would die somewhere in between.

And there ends this sudden morbidness.

I got bored building and went around looking for clothes. I especially like Liv-Glam's weekly deals because they're affordable and there would be something I cannot resist getting from the shop. Like the red Azzedine mini Moon is wearing. The next minis are Chantalle and Glina, hunt items from Liv-Glam.

I also use Carter to get the Flame Fashion Group Gifts, Marina and the 3 Specila. I love colourful textures. It's from living in a hot climate. The group is still free to join.

Moon wearing MIEL Nautica Dress fatpack for FLF. I didn't go to the shop but bought it at the marketplace. At the moment it's still 50L.
I am loving my underwater home....which doesn't have any house or furnitures. Just landscaping and  fishes and dolphins.

The colours just blow me away. My daughters, who are scuba beginners laughed when I showed them Moon's place. Although most of the time I am up on the sky platform building.

whispering Elven princess

I could not resist the Essence skin Whisper from TDR Fusion. The face is so cute and adorable but on Moon's face, it wasn't that kind of cute but I didn't want to make another face just for the skin.

This beautiful gown is this week's group gift from the White Armory.
Moon is also wearing jewelry from Donna Flora and hair from Analog dog. Eyes are from Poetic Colors and those elven ears are from Illusions.

Moon's Digits 2013 and through the years

I'm doing another Strawberry Singh's meme. Pictures are more interesting for me than words and that is one very shallow confession, I know!

I haven't changed Moon's digit much since Nov 2012 except made her thicker because I wanted her to look chubbier and mesh doesn't allow me to add to the body fat because of fitting technicalities.

It comes in 2 parts. The picture was the 2nd part and it was easier.

Proportions Challenge Questions:

1. Do you try and keep your avatar’s body proportionate and similar to the “average” proportions pictured above? – No. I usually move the sliders to whatever pleases my eyes.
2. What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh? – The feet. The graphic looks like it's been slapped on and forgotten.
3. Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all? – No. I find it interesting to see avatars in all shapes and sizes.
4. Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average? - No. Everybody is free to create their avatar anyway they want to. They are the ones who has to look at their avatars 24/7.

I'm glad I still kept Moon's old shapes although there was a time I had planned to purged them all.

I am surprised she had gone through major yoyo height changes every year. I am also surprised that I had reverted Moon's shape to almost her original shape. I had no idea until I did this meme. I do stick to my avatar having a figure 8 though. Seems like in my head, this is how my ideal woman should look like.
Looking at this trend, I don't know if next year Moon is going to be tall again.

Under the sea

Have you been to the Under the Sea Expo yet?
Lots of free hunt items. I really love that I don't need to tp from sim to sim to find them coz after a few times tping, I would crash without fail and being in the sim same defeats that. And I love it! I remember how it used to be that hunts were always on the same sim. I would rather have lag than crash anyday.
Isn't this hunt item from kittycats of a swimming cat adorable? Moon is also wearing a free Mermaid outfit from Evie's closet and whimsical seahorse rings on her fingers from House of Rain.
With this expo I have also made up my mind to make an underwater landscape and I've already set free a few dolphins on my water parcel. I let them roam too far so it is not so easy to take pics of all 3 of them together. Maybe next time.

And since Moon is in a bikini, I thought I'd do Strawberry Singh's meme/challenge. I've never done one of them before but this meme/challenge calls out to the creative side in me.
It took me a while to think of the right movie poster for Moon. In the end, I had to log in the malt to join in the picture.
