The Calpe Cape House

I'm really fascinated by the gambrel roof from my last build, the Bailey Red Barn Family House that I wanted to build another one. The gambrel roof is a little bit primmy but I couldn't resist the bell-shape design.

The Calpe Cape House is a 5 bedroom double-storey Dutch Colonial Revival inspired home.
And as an option, I've also made a separate garage with an upper room. All the landscaping in the picture is also included as an option.

I have made 3 rezzers for this project. One for the mainhouse, another for the garage and the third for both buildings and landscaping included. The completed set sits on a 50x50 base.

My Lucky Leopard Keldan

This is a short post about my KittyCats.

This year's surprise St Patrick's Day KittyCat is called Lucky Leopard. Between now to the 18th of March, anyone who has a breeding pair may get one. My kitty gave me one early this morning and I debated whether to unpacked it or not. Then a few minutes later, another kitty gave me a MegaPuss. So this Lucky Leopard really did bring me luck!

I thought of partnering the Lucky Leopard with the Mega but then I remembered that I had another Mega which had Burmillas as parents and decided to pair him with her. Burmilla is one of the newest KittyCat breed. Also, the green eyes told me that she's the one for him.

The Lucky Leopard comes in a four-leaf clover box.

I wanted to take a picture of Keldan the Lucky Leopard and his future partner Kelly but my puppy Jaynie just had to be in the picture too. I also didn't crop the picture so that you could see the other pets on the right looking at the cat picture. Even though this is all virtual, they seem to have their own personalities and I could loose track of time looking at their antics.

The Bailey Red Barn Family House

I've wanted to build another red barn after I did the Red Barn Houseboat and this one is a 3-storey house with a horse barn on the side. I imagined a family living in this house with children who are excited about living in a barn!

The landscaping took a while to complete until I realised that a farm wouldn't look complete without sunflowers and vegetable plots. At least in Summer.

The Bailey Red Barn Family Ranch comes in 3 parts. The main is the Bailey Red Barn House which is 118LI with a base area of 28x34. The other parts, which is the Red Barn Stable and the Landscaping are optional features which I feel completed the feel of a ranch or farm.

I have also added privacy screens with mountain scenes which means you could turn this into a skybox too.

I have made 3 rezzers for the Bailey Red Barn Family House; first just the Bailey Red Barn Family House, second, just the Red Barn Stable and third, the The Bailey Family Red Barn Farm House which includes both the Family House, Stable and landscaping.

The Bailey was a challenge for me to complete because I was in a dilemma whether to add more landscaping and decors to it but I think I have balanced it out well. In the end, a house becomes a home with your own furnishing touches and not mine. Also, it is the house that I am selling and the others are just the icing(optional).

Flying the Bumblebee

Paris Metro has a new group gift, the Bumblebee Helicopter.

Since my water parcel has now been blocked by jetties and it's a very tight squeeze to take the boat out to sea, I'm using the Bumblebee Helicopter to fly and explore the Blake Sea areas.

I used the default windlight with medium graphic setting because I didn't want to risk crashing every time I cross a sim, but the draw distance was over 300 so it was a good flight.

Then for post processing, I used Pixlr, my go to photo editor. It's not my best, but it was the flying and exploring that was more fun. I've been so cooped up on my building platform I needed a break.

While I was flying, it occurred to me that I don't see any of my builds, so I looked around and found a couple.

Seamus Pine Log Cabin II

After building the cute Seamus Pine Log Cabin, of course I had to do a larger version of the cabin.

I've added another wing to the building, widened the 'great room' and added a shallow pool.

Seamus Pine Log Cabin

After building the tropical cabin, I was inspired to do a log cabin.

The Seamus Pine Log Cabin is 57 land impact, 22x26 base area. It's an open concept one and a half storey house.
