Adventures in Cat Adoption 2
Yesterday I found a partner for my new born KittyCat when I went kitty shopping. I am fast becoming a cat lady! My skybox now has 6 KittyCats. Good thing there is no litter cleaning involved!
Isold and Anson KittyCats.
Not only did I get the toy Balinese, I also got a few other kitties too. These kitties I kept at my winter home otherwise I would be stepping all over them.
Raid and Marian KittyCats.
Shaka and Jailyn KittyCats.
I must admit, these kitties are too addictive. I can't wait to see the outcome of their pairing. I had only wanted a pair and I had planned to turn them into perma-pets, but now, I'm not so sure.
And here is Luelle who started it all.

Wintry travels
I didn't want to miss the opportunity of exploring the winter season sims so yesterday I went sim hopping.
First, I went to the Winter Ice Rock Fest 2014 which I found from the SecondLife Destination Guide.
There were a lot of things to do there. I rode the skylift.
I hopped to a few more sims but none was as pretty.
This picture was taken in South Farthing, part of the Calas Galadhon sim. These sims are always picture perfect.
When I got home, I found that my KittyCat had given birth!
She looked just like her mom but is a toy-size. I haven't birthed her yet because I want to find her a toy-sized partner first.
The next day, I continued the winter tour from my snow parcel.
At first I thought I'd ride the horse, then a tour pod drove by and I quickly jumped off the horse and climbed aboard the pod. What better way to view the landscape and take pictures. The downside was slow rezzing and I couldn't set the graphic card to high and there was no point taking pictures. Just enjoy the ride!
I think I travelled through 5 sims without crashing and that in itself is amazing. You can start your tour at the pod station.
I went home after the pod ended it's journey at the station.

Chantal House with Loft
This is the 3-storey version of the Classica Chantal Double Storey House. I opened up the Mansard roof and made a balcony, an extra room and an open area for entertainment.
Below are unedited pictures of the 'renovation' using high graphic and default windlight.
Unedited picture of the balcony.
Unedited picture of the French windows giving more light to the stairway leading to the loft.

Chantal
My latest house is the Classica Chantal Double Storey House
This house is inspired by the French-style architecture with it's Mansard roofs. It has 5 bedrooms and 2 baths, perfect for a big family without having to be in a large land parcel.
The garage can be turned into another room if you don't want to keep a car. The kitchen is large enough for all the family members to hang out while cooking is done. The bedroom downstairs can be turned into a study. There is even space upstairs for a small entertainment area.
House specs:
127 land impact
17x26 base
unfurnished

The Cherrywood Rustic Farmhouse
Seems like I am in the mood for wood cabins. It must be the reruns of Little House on the Prairie.
I cut down on the prims by making the living, dining and kitchen one big space and using the same textures for the walls.
The house has 2 entrances. The back door goes straight up to the bedrooms.
The bigger bedroom.
The smaller bedroom.
The bathroom. In my earlier homes, I usually leave out making a bathroom and that will also mean lowering the prim count, because, really, avatars do not have to go, but sometimes, even in SL, people want to imitate rl so I have since, included bathrooms too.
Purchase and demo of the house is now available at my in-world store and Marketplace.
Picture of the house edited with pixlr effects.
