Lumiere is rocking it at Cosmopolitan Sale Room

Lumiere is into rockabilly this round at the Cosmopolitan Sale Room. I'm still in beach mode and I got this free picnic basket from Poche and somehow it just makes sense to go to the beach for a picnic.

Rocking at the beach

Round 25 of Cosmopolitan Sale Room is here!

I mixed and match items from 3 different designers from this round. I know in  rl it would be impossible to walk on the sand with those spikes, but it reminded me of a Rachel Zoe episode I saw when she had to be carried down to the beach coz she was wearing spiky boots. Fashion doesn't care about sensibilities.
Anyway, this is SL and if Moon can fly, she can darn well wear heels to the beach in skimpy clothings in winter!

I also went to the Black Event Sale and Hunt. The hunt is fairly easy and the items are free. I have no idea when I would open the boxes, but I was quiet captivated by two 10L items from Kirei, a store I have not heard of before. Pictures help. Above is called [Kirei] Cheongsam. The hair Moon is wearing is called *Plume* Jeux d'enfants - Soil/Umber, an old item. I'm not sure if it's still available, but I love the chopsticks in the buns. The white shoes are from GOS at shoetopia called Dita. I love white shoes and this wedges is almost like the ones I have rl.

The second item from Kirei is called [Kirei]  Black Gown. It's not really a gown, but a mini sweater dress. I think it's adorable.

Sometimes I like to pretend that Moon is a trust fund baby and dress her up like a rich girl or how I perceived a rich girl would wear. And this is it. The hair is [LeLutka]-ALICE hair/Naturals. The bag is Fleshtone :: The Huntington Bag White. The shoes are  N-core SHAE "White" (Mesh).

Colours for cold days

I am still loving the colours of Autumn.

Belleza has a skin called Molly for FLF. Moon is wearing it in her shape(or same face I should say) while I changed the face for Carter. They're both wearing Mayfly luminous eyes and I have to say, these eyes are just amazing.  Also, LavandaChic has another group gift out and I really love the colour and youthfulness of their style. Perfect for Carter.

Exploring Monti Carlo Resort & Gaming

Today's post has nothing to do with dresses.

Yesterday, between taking pictures for the previous post, my long time friend Sergio invited me to his sim. It wasn't the first time, but this time, I made an effort to go because you know, it's not good to always say you're busy even if you are. Sometimes, you just have to drop whatever it is you're doing and go look at what your friends are up to and not just hear them talk about it.

Sergio has had his sim for a while now and he's a also a builder like myself. Although he doesn't upload his builds onto the marketplace or sell them anywhere else. He just builds for his sim.

He's turned his land into a residential/commercial sim.

Stomping the grapes! Ok, I should have taken off the boots but this is not rl so what the heck:) It does make me wonder if the wine's tastiness has anything to do with that fungi in blue cheese that is also connected to smelly foot. Can I say eeew and yummy at the same time?

From the City to the Sea

Today will be my first post blogging for JK Styles. I'm always excited to dress up Moon or Carter or both of them together and I always feel honoured being asked to blog for designers or events. It must mean that I am doing something right.
I take these assignments very seriously. It's not about getting free stuffs. I have enough lindens to buy the things I want in SL. It's about being appreciated, but mostly, it's about me getting to do what I like and that is dressing up my avatars.

City people love their black outfits, don't they? Black is always in style and when the weather turns colder, s the colour of everyone's clothings turns dark. JK Style has this chic outfit for 55L Thursday. The crop sweater comes with a 6-coloured hud. I chose black because I am a city girl. There is also 2 choices for the system jeans, black and blue. A very good deal indeed.
I've also been looking for high knees boots for a while now and I finally chose Redgrave's LQMesh Overknees Boots KIM. I feel I can dress them up and down but the best part is, they have many colour options on a hud for the price of 690L.

Another 55L Thursday from JK Style called Michelle is light and breezy. Now that Moon has gone shopping in the City, it was time to go back to her beach. This city girl loves her water. Her neighbours are great at building up the land and here is a view of Grumphmunch from Schilli.

I can imagine feeling the wind in Moon's hair as she stands there posing on the dock of the lighthouse in Schilli with the yacht club behind her. This dress comes with a 6-coloured hud, 3 stripes and 3 squares patterns. I chose the blue to match with the freebie Mayfly eyes and the sky.
