I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know that there's a sale going on at Maitreya. Moon is wearing one of the many outfits I've bought for her.
I've busted my budget again and it's only the first week of the month.

This home by the Sea

One of the things I love to do in SL is house decorating. I don't have the time to do it in a leisurely way anymore because I am always in a hurry to pack up the house once it's completed. Fortunately, I prefer minimal clutter.

The thing about contemporary classical furnitures, once you have them, you don't need to buy anymore furnitures because they're timeless.

Elven Fantasy

I wanted to see if Moon would still feel like Moon in her everyday Anais skin. I hate changing skins and shapes just for certain ideas even though I have tons of skins because once I love a certain skin, I feel like that's Moon and changing would make her a different person and in turn, not me. I think it's a silly notion, but that's how I feel.
Those ears with those chains look so sexy, I might not take them off.

Black Joy

Moon is wearing Finesmith's jewelry and gown July Group Gift called Black Joy.

And how appropriate too because even in joy, I can feel the black clouds rolling in. Maybe because after many disappointments, I don't expect anything to be happily ever after for me. I can't really explain it but it's just one of those crazy feelings I get sometimes.

Without dream there is no hope and without hope there is no future.

warm summer breezes in something sheer and old

I just completed my houses and this bedroom looks so inviting I thought I might as well take a picture of Moon in something sheer for the 50 shades of sexy challenge which I have neglected doing for a very long time.

I am in Pergola mood lately and that's why all my houses seems to have them. And having a water parcel seems to inspire me to build all kinds of houses that would suit a water parcel even if it seemed unlikely, think carribean countries during colonial times.

Moon is wearing hair from Magika Wait and old tee and jeans and boots. This is her outfit from the fast folder and the scripts from the boots have been deleted so this get-up is low script.

Then I tped to Truth to get the hair and hat combo but I still prefered the old Ween Cowboy hat from Reek but I love this Kerri hair with the texture-change headband.

Now to complete the house.

hair sale and missed opportunity

There is a hair sale going on at Magika at the moment until July 10th. I am shocked I only bought 2 pairs of hair. The hair Moon is wearing is called After. She is also wearing Maitreya's sarong Lust and Shiki wedges which she never seemed to take off. I really do want to buy her new shoes, but everytime I get excited seeing new shoes, it has to be paired with slink feet which I don't have and who knows when I'm going to get them for Moon.

I'm working on a new house and only the kitchen is furnished at the moment. I am inspired to do another classical contemporary home which to me means, it's an old design renovated to look new. This home is going to be big.

Missed opportunity. Today is my late father's birthday. He would have been 67 today but he died 20 years ago. I was never close to him but I still miss him because I wished I was. And talking about death, my brother died when he was 47. It makes me wonder if I would die somewhere in between.

And there ends this sudden morbidness.
