Lucia Garden Cottage

 Last house for the year!

This little cottage is inspired from my wine-making roleplay days, except there was no feet stomping the grapes and there was no grape but some other-worldly fruits. I was also inspired by Tuscany, Italy.

So, there is the two rows of grapevine and a few apple trees.

Inside is just open space because I wanted to make sure the prim is low.

I have made Lucia Garden Cottage in a REZZER and also separate the house and landscaping without rezzer.

They are all copy, no mod, no transfer and partial mesh. As added bonus, the birdhouse has chirping bird songs and a little bird perched on it.

Privacy

 I made some flat privacy screens to herald Winter..... eventhough I live in the Tropics and I'm experiencing the Monsoon! I love the rain so I'm happy there.

Maribella Tudor Garden Cottage

 I confess, I love the name Maribella! Here is another Maribella house:

This time I made the Maribella house really small so that I could add all the flowers and plants around it.

It has low(according to SL standard) 4m walls and it has an open-spaced concept to minimize on prims.

Felicia Garden Cottage

Sometimes things don't go the way I want but there is always my hobbies to keep me sane. So here are some updates on the houses and foliage I have worked on this past weeks.

This small cottage comes with the landscape. You can see it at the demo platform or the marketplace.

La Nina Townhouse is another of my obsession with stucco builds with flat roof. You can also see it at the demo platform or the marketplace.

Josie and Sean Row Apartments was something I did on a whim months ago between my La Nina craze so you can see the similarities. When I did these, I had just bought a land on the old continent by the river and I was thinking of making a row of shop houses with an apartment above them and I could hang out on the balcony with one of those kick back chairs and watch the river. Unfortunately, the plot was shape weirdly and the building was not small. This happens when walls are 5m high.

Josie and Sean Row Apartments have no demo. You can see them on the marketplace.

And even though winter hasn't come yet, for me who lives in the tropics, I cannot but skip that season make greens!

Autumn

 Autumn is definitely my favorite season. The colours of Autumn is so rich and soothing to me. I haven't had time to build. Building takes time and I haven't had much of that for SL. So, when I have the time, I would do the next thing I love---landscaping.

And Autumn is Inspiring!

I landscape for small plots because my own parcel is small, so maybe it's more like flower/plant arrangement but without the vase!

So here are some pictures of what I've been doing.

Joshua House

Joshua House is a double-storey house with an attached conservatory which you can also use as a greenhouse.

The wide front verandah has 2 entrances, one of which leads into the kitchen. The open-spaced living/dining leads out into the conservatory, kitchen and another verandah at the back. The kitchen can also lead out to this verandah. From the conservatory, you can also exit the house. Yes, I have made many exit doors.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms share a bathroom.

This house is 103 land impact and has a base area of 27x18. It is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh.

I have also made a rezzer for easy positioning. Please see the demo at my Demo Platform.

Cassian Mod Blue House

Cassian Mod Blue House is a modern double-storey house with flat roof, big windows and glass doors.

It has a foyer entrance that leads up upstairs to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom/utility rooms. Downstairs, the living-area, dining and kitchen are separated. There is a back door in the living-room and also another door from the dining-room that leads out onto a covered verandah.

This house is 82 land impact, copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. It is unfurnished.

Cassian Mod is available for 200L in the Marketplace and the Demo Platform.

 

Joshua Farmhouse

 

Joshua Farmhouse is a double-storey house with an attached stable that would fit 2 adult horses(eg ABC horses).

There is a large living/dining area and a separate kitchen with a door that leads to the back. The attached stable has a private room which can be turned into an office/vet/utility/extra room. There is also a door that leads out of the stable. The fences are not scripted to open or close.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms/utilities.

This house is 114 land impact and has a base area of 28x18. It is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh.

Joshua Farmhouse is available for 250L on the Marketplace and the demo platform.

Martha Cape Cottage

 

Martha Cape Cottage is a single-storey bungalow with high ceilings and walls(5m).

It has a covered porch entrance and a spacious covered verandah at the back.

The living and dining area leads out to the verandah while there is also another door in the kitchen area that will take you to the verandah. A wonderful area for eating and entertaining outdoor!

There are 2 bedrooms and a smaller room with tiled floor which would fit a bathroom.

Martha Cape Cottage is 25x20 and will fit in a 32x32 plot snugly. It is better to place it in a 64x32 plot.

The cottage is 76 land impact, copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh. I have also included a rezzer for easy positioning.

Wesley House II

 

Wesley House is a small, double-storey American Midwest home with high ceilings and walls(5m).

It has a small porch entrance with glass-paned door, a separate living/dining and kitchen area with another glass-paned door to the side of the house. Upstairs, there is a small landing and 3 private rooms, the smallest which can be the bathroom.

Wesley House is only 54 land impact and 18x15. It will fit on a 1024 land(32x32) but would look better on a 2046 plot.

The house is copy, mod, and no transfer. It is partial mesh.

I have also added a rezzer for easy positioning.

Annie Cosy Cottage

 

Annie Cosy Cottage is a small 12.5x12.5 double-storey house with low roof. It has an open space concept on the ground floor and 1 room upstairs with a narrow area.

The entrance has a single glass door with glass sides while there is a second glass door on the adjacent side of the house.

The house is 43 land impact, copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh.

I have also added a rezzer for easy positioning.

Sundown Fishing Cabin

 

I wanted to build a rustic house in the wetlands where it is hot and humid too and where fishes are a plenty!  After many changes in textures because my eyes just cannot discern the dark shades in this new FS update, I came up with these textures. Sundown Fishing Cabin is a mixture of dark and light wooden textures.

Sundown Fishing Cabin is a double-storey wooden house on high stilts. This rustic home can be placed on dry land or water.

It has two weathered staircases that leads up to the house, one for the front and another for the back. You may notice that there is a passageway under the house where it is stiltless. I imagine this as a passage-way if the house is partly on water and a boat can make it's way to the back staircase and bring home the catch. 

It also has a continuous verandah except for the back part of the house.

Both the living and kitchen area has 2 doors that leads out onto the verandah.

From the kitchen, the stairs takes you up to an open space and to the bedroom.

This house fits snugly on a 32x32 plot and it would look better on a 64x32plot.

It is 68 land impact and 30x17. It comes with and without a rezzer. It is copy, mod, no transfer and partial mesh.
