Saturday Night at B&B's.

Decorating a new home

Having a new house means it's time to decorate. I'm not enthusiastic about decorating. I am one of those people who, if possible, will never move into another house and will never change the positions of their furnitures!

Anyway, I moved the furnitures a bit and somehow, without meaning to, the theme became green because of the AF chinese low cabinet which I bought from the recent CNY event.

I love my Bazar kitchens but that 2-prim kitchen from Dekute Dekore is a neccessity for a low prim 1024 sky platform. And it has interactive poses too.

The old vintage record player seemed out of place next to all the mesh items but it's nostalgic and it's a freebie on the marketplace.

The front view of the house looks like a mash-up of my Beachcomber's Cabin and Amelia's Courtyard Poolhouse and it is. I love the white brick and the blue wood and the big windows and the pergola.

The Summer House

I've completed another beach house. This is the heavier version, with 2 bedrooms and 2 wash rooms. 66LI. 19x32.
I plan to replace the Amelia's Courtyard Poolhouse on my sky platform home with this house, but without the bedrooms and washrooms.

While I was building:

I really like this Two for Tea Set  from **InteriorAddiction** eventhough it's not mesh and the whole set-up is 32 prims. I usually build my houses on my building platform and then take it to the sandbox when completed to decorate it for picture-taking. Right now my building platform and my sky home platform are a couple of 1024sqm plots so that means small houses and not much prims.

Hearts everywhere

There are pink hearts for the romantics and black hearts for the goths and brokenhearted. Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I think this is one non-holiday that is probably very stressful for a lot of people. What to get for someone who has everything? What to get  for someone who doesn't want anything? Do you really listen to her/him? Do they really mean it? Of course, if your partner loves getting presents, then there is no problem!

The trials and tribulation of wanting to look good

Well I made it into this month's Collabor88. It was quite hilarious to me. Lag was so bad, all the meshes were little pyramids and people were gray and missing their parts and the vendors were not rezzing. But since I am in, no way was I going out. So I hung around for the vendors to rezz.
