Meme: What's Your Digit Take 4

I like doing this digit challenge from Miss Berry's. This will be the third year I am participating. I like playing around with the shape sliders and see how they can change the avatar and I like having the opportunity to have Moon in a bikini.

Below was how Moon looked in 2012 after I started applying standard size.

There hasn't been much changes except to fit into a size XS, S or M because not all clothes are standard sizes. I still use zero body fat which to me doesn't mean my avatar is skinny as her body thickness is way out there at 77. And eventhough she is over 6 feet, doesn't mean she is tall as making her a little over 5 feet makes her look stunted. Virtual size and real life size is just not the same.

Questions about Fitted Mesh:

1. What are your thoughts about Fitted mesh? – I am more open towards Fitted Mesh than I was with regular mesh. When I bought a mesh body, I demoed a few Fitted Mesh clothings and I found that it wasn't any better than regular mesh, infact, my avatar with her mesh body wore the regular mesh better. I tried working with the shape sliders, but that didn't help. So for now, I will stick to regular mesh.
2. Have you tried any of the new fitted mesh avatars released by Linden Lab? What do you think of them? – I like them. I think it is a step in the right direction except for the part where one can't change their attire. Also, why are their hands and fingers so big?
3. Have you tried any fitted mesh avatars/bodies created by residents? – I have only felt like trying the WoWMesh body and my avatar is now wearing the mesh body full time.
4. Have you tried a mesh head? What are your thoughts about mesh heads? – I have demoed a few mesh heads. I didn't like that the face is the same for everyone so that didn't win me over.
5. Do you foresee a lot of changes to our current Second Life avatars because of fitted mesh? –Changes takes time. Even now people are still using system clothings on their avatars and with all the shape sizing frustrations with Fitted Mesh and regular mesh, I don't think there will be a lot of changes anytime soon.

Off to Sea

This look came about after Moon tried on this new dress I made. I remembered I had Donna Flora's SeaHorse set and then I got the notice from Pure Poison about the Sea Horse Sandals. And then I got the notice from Argrace about the new hair Yae with the scarf and it all came together. I LOVE this short hair. It has little wisps of flexi hair that bobs around gently when Moon walks.

I have been messing with Moon's shape because this little discrepancy between the Slink feet and the WowMeh body is making me crazy at times. I have changed Moon's size from XXS to XS and now she is S, moved fat sliders, muscle sliders and body thickness sliders. I finally found the closest fit when I decreased the body thickness, increased a bit of the fat and muscle both in the legs and the arms. Also, broaden the shoulders and neck a bit. I am sure I will continue messing with the shape slider until I am perfectly satisfied.

All I can say is, PATIENCE.

JKStyle Renata

JKStyle has released a couple of new outfits.

Moon is wearing the one that fits her WoWMeh's body. Renata comes with multi-coloured hud and both regular mesh and fitmesh version. Strangely, the regular mesh version fits better on Moon than the fitmesh version.
