Clubwear and GG

Continuing Carter's journey on looking good and still keeping within my narcissistic monthly budget, I tped Carter to the Cosmopolitan Sales Room and bought the Liv-Glam dress I have been eyeing.

And before I forget, N-core has a really pretty and girly groupgift out called N-core Group Gift- CUORE "Pink Floral" (Mesh). The group used to be free but now it's 50L to join.

I didn't edit the picture. The hud wasn't their latest version, but it was still easy to use and Moon was using her regular Glance skin and the difference in skin shades wasn't very discernable. It made me demo their other shoes and I'm dreading the day I bust my budget on their shoes!

I tped Carter to Acid Lily Gallery to see a dress but ended up buying this OMG it's so vibrant red gown with flexi ruffles. I'm so glad designers are starting to add flexis! Can I have a short dress with flexis too?

Fantasy in space(Monday meme)

This week's meme challenge from Strawberry Singh is about surrealism and having a platform like SL and being able to interact in it is already surreal. Sometimes I think it's funny that I prefer to have a human avatar rather than any other mythical being but occasionally, I love turning my avatar into a mermaid or a fairy or an elf and even a cyborg. I especially love sci-fi.  What would be surreal to me is to have a mermaid in space. She would have to have wings. Fairy wings of course.

About the Music

Some days in SL, all I want to do is listen to music and cam around taking pictures. And this morning is one of those days.

It has been awhile since I went music hopping because I spent most of my time up on the sky platform building or just staring at the prim as if it could inspire me, but this morning I told myself it was time to go forth and listen to other than those who sang at Chip's One Night Stand.

And so, a little after 6pm, I tped Moon to The Pier to listen to DennyMac. He plays the acoustic guitar and although Chip Takacs has spoilt me with his electric guitar, it was still pleasant to listen to the sweet lulling guitar. I cammed a lot to get some pictures while avatar Moon danced obliviously but only 2 pleases my eyes.

I have always loved pictures of lighthouses.

This music venue is really beautiful and would be a great backdrop for photo shoots:)

Then half way through the show, I found out that my friend VincentSantino was doing a show the next hour so I tped Moon over:

Vinny's one of those old rockers. He's gonna kill me for saying that:p

Then right after his show I tped Moon over to listen to Harry Frychester because he has an awesome voice and he's funny too. I called my daughter over to listen to him and at first she thought he was Michael Buble.

I didn't take many pictures. The sim was packed and laggy and I didn't want to crash.

3 hours of shows is my limit. I logged out and turn on the radio:)

I love retro

For FLF, DCNY offered their popular boho baby dress. I'm sorry I didn't post this sooner.

And this morning while I was browsing the fashion feed, I saw Sn@tch's latest offering. Another hippie-countrified dress I cannot resist.

This style of dresses is so laidback, you don't have to worry if you've eaten too much at lunch and your belly is bulging and you don't have to worry about your cute bulging fats if you just plonk down in that comfy chair and curl up. And, to top it off, it's so feminine and pretty, it just compliments you. Or your avatars:)

I paired both dresses with the *League* Lauren Wedge Boots from this month's collarbor88.

Rocking it in Liv Glam

This is a picture I took of Moon and Carter standing outside a Theater in their Liv-Glam outfits. I've been waiting to get my hands on the top Carter is wearing because those beaded fringe reminds me a lot of retro and boho and hippie goodness. Then the little french hat adds a bit of artsy while the sandals tone everything down.

Moon's outfit with the Eiffle tower print echoes Carter's. They are ready to go to a concert.

Black and Red dresses that say sexy

A super sexy little black dress. It's those cutouts at the waist that gets me.  I saw this dress on facebook a few days ago and waited for the soho event to open to get this dress.

And cheap too at only 80L from [C.A] Mia Dress (at the SOHO Market).
