Quirky Faced Pots
The last time I wrote about the Arcade Gacha was in March. Since I spent most of my time in SL building and staring at my Kittycats, I don't have much time to shop. But, I do read the fashion and Seraphim blogs and when I saw the pictures of the Quirky Faced Pots in the Arcade Shopping Guide, I knew I would be visiting the Arcade this month. Who can resist these? I got into the Arcade a week later after all the early shoppers has had their gacha fix and the place was no longer jam packed.
Above is a picture of my Kittycats Raye and Josefina with the pots. I didn't get all of the pots but when I started getting too many doubles, I had to stop. I did get both the rares. I'll probably go back later to try get the rest. It really is irritating not to get the whole set, but I'm sure that's the whole idea of the gacha!

The Curacao Houseboat
I try to make another houseboat that is less than 50 land impact and came up with The Curacao Houseboat.
The The Curacao Houseboat is a small 2 storey house with 2 decks on both sides. To lessen the prim count, you could have only 1 deck but I thought it looked more charming with 2. As with most of my current houseboats, this is also an open space house.
Open space houses are always less in prim count so it's usually for the singles or couples.

house spec:
house specs;
46 land impact
23x17 base area(23x12 without the sidewalk)
copy, mod, no transfer
partial mesh
unfurnished
*scripts are no mod
This house is now available for 149L at my in-world store and the Marketplace. Demo of the house is available at the in-world store.

The Columbina Blue Houseboat
My next built is a one bedroom houseboat.
It can also be a landed house of course.
View of the open spaced living, dining and kitchen with the sliding door next to the kitchen where you can have your breakfast out on the deck.
View from the kitchen.
I thought this time I would make a closed room and this is the landing to the bedroom.

The Red Barn Houseboat
My second houseboat is inspired by the Dutch style roof:
I call it The Red Barn Houseboat because it looked like a barn to me. I know, not very creative:p
Above is the vendor picture.
This is a 44 Land Impact houseboat with an open style concept. Which means lots of leftover prims to decorate with!

My newest houseboat.
It's been a long time since I've built a houseboat and The Sassy Blue Houseboat is inspired by the colourful houseboats of Sausalito.

a Home for my Kitties
This post has nothing to do with my houses. It's all about my other passion in SL. It's the KittyCats.
After a year of breeding the kitties, I finally have my first menagerie kitty.
Meet Aldo!
Aldo is a Le Tigre Bengal with Odyssey Cobalt and Olivine costume eyes. Since I love 2 coloured eyes in kitties, I'm happy he has them for his tiger costume.
The only way to get a Le Tigre Bengal is by menagering your kitties, that is by sending them to their happy place and you can never see them again....which is incredibly difficult to do even though I know they are just virtual pets. Everytime you send a kitty to the menagerie, you get 50 kitty dollars and Aldo cost me 10000 kitty dollars. He is of normal size and if you want a different size kitty, it will cost more. Still, why would you want to keep all the unbreedable kitties which you would still have to feed? I still have over two dozens live unbreedable kitties I can't make myself send to the menagerie yet. Sentimental.
Here's Aldo with some of the kitties inside the kitty house. There's my favorite girl Maribella with the 2 coloured eyes and her mom Bella Amore sleeping on the sofa.
I've partnered her with Ferdinand the kitty with the white fur and Scotty Fold ears but so far, they have not given me any babies with scotty folds. I live in hope. But it doesn't matter because Maribella has always given me pretty babies and she is the only one of my kitties that has given me 3 MegaPuss out of 10 babies. What are the odds? She is definitely a keeper.
And under the old house, I have the mega kitties frolicking around.
My other mega kitty, Kim was too busy running around that she ran out of the picture when I took this snap.
I thought the MegaPuss deserve a better home, so I 'renovated' the last house I built, the Summer Island Lake to be more kitty friendly.
Now they have their own 'cave' and they are protected from the elements!
Home Sweet Home. Decorating the house and landscaping the parcel is still a work in progress.
Yay!
