keep calm

I thought I could keep my cool when shopping at January's Collabor. I waited a whole week so that the crowd would die down.

I changed my outfit while I shop. How embarassing is that? Not very much because I do that in rl with shoes all the time. I don't look at other people when I shop so I just assume they don't either so....
When I got back, I hopped on the pose and took this shot.

Princess

When I saw this dress from Liv-Glam it reminded me of a retro princess. I love retro dresses. Nice that fashion always go in circle and now, strangely, it's staying. Does it mean designers have run out of ideas for the ordinary people? I'm not talking avantgarde fashions. Who wants to wear that kind of clothings as everyday wear?
Moon is wearing the xxs size. The dress is a bit on the big size.

Another dress from Liv-Glam. I like the turtle neck collar. Used to be with sculpt, this kind of collar always fail to sit well. This dress has a hud with other colour options and it was only 55L so that's a bargain. Moon is wearing the xs size.

This dress is very similar to Kungler's Loulou dress and since I loved that dress, I had to get this one at the TDR fusion. I usually wear this dress with long wavy(flexi parts) to hide the shoulders near the neck because the dress cut into the skin. Mesh is weird like that. The ankle boots are from Ison FLF. The bag and earrings are past hunt items at Purplemoon and the bracelet was a gift from past Jewellery Fair.
Last, I am using a pose from Di's Opera. There's a 50% sale on fatpack going on at the moment till end of the week.
Of course when my avie moves around SL, I loose the bag and the glasses. Otherwise I start feeling weird.

Look 11.01.13

I know. This is quite a -blah- look but I can't help it. I don't feel very glamorous. I think December took the glamour out of me and I just want my avatar to look comfy. I also wanted to wear the boots from last month's Collabor88 before I start shopping there again.
I'm starting to have this bad habit of buying and collecting stuffs and never using them. Not good.

Casual and cozy

The first week of the year had been busy for me. My youngest daughter burst her appendix and after surgery she was hospitalized for almost a week and I've been going back and forth to the hospital. She's home safe and well now. Thank God.
And.... a week away from SL, even though I logged for a few mins everyday to clear my mails, has made SL not so appealing.
Anyway, I felt like dressing Moon down today but not so dowdy.

an island holiday

My daughter and I have been fantasizing an island holiday forever. Maldive or Mauritius. One day I hope to go to one these islands.
