Casual and cozy

The first week of the year had been busy for me. My youngest daughter burst her appendix and after surgery she was hospitalized for almost a week and I've been going back and forth to the hospital. She's home safe and well now. Thank God.
And.... a week away from SL, even though I logged for a few mins everyday to clear my mails, has made SL not so appealing.
Anyway, I felt like dressing Moon down today but not so dowdy.

an island holiday

My daughter and I have been fantasizing an island holiday forever. Maldive or Mauritius. One day I hope to go to one these islands.
For now I'll imagine with my avatar.

Happy New Year 2013

Goodbye sad 2012, hello hopeful 2013. I intend to fortify my feelings and just take each day one day at a time.

A gown and a cocktail

I know I told myself not to spent but... but...

This beautiful dress is from Purplemoon called Cao. I wore it with Donna Flora's Adele diamond.

And this sexy black mini is from Coldlogic called Noel and the earrings and bangles are old TDR YS&YS. I tried all colour shoes and somehow this Pixelmode berry colour heels seems to speak to me. No idea why.

The show of life and final colour challenge

I feel sad that the colour challenge has come to an end, but all good things must come to an end one day and this has been a good project for me to participate.

I finally accepted mesh and although I miss my amazon blonde Moon, I'm happy with shorty brunette Moon.

This has not been a good year for me in SL or in RL but like all things, the show(of life) must go on. I'm grateful that I have not burdened anyone in my process to heal myself of the sadness that has happened to me and in the process, I found a creative outlet in architecture albeit not in a professional way. I'm happy with what I have done so far.

At the end of the day, I realised that I came to this world alone and I will leave it alone too and people are just spices in my life and if they leave, that's alright with me. They have already enhanced my life.

TDR 21 12 12

I will have to make a New Year's resolution not to spent too much next year. I don't know what it is about holiday season that makes me want to buy buy buy!
It doesn't help that designers are churning out fantastic clothes. It doesn't help that mesh clothes are getting better.
I still hope that it would be better and the dresses wouldn't go into my avie's skin. That reminds me of sculpts except with sculpts, I could modify it.
