Decorating a new home

Having a new house means it's time to decorate. I'm not enthusiastic about decorating. I am one of those people who, if possible, will never move into another house and will never change the positions of their furnitures!

Anyway, I moved the furnitures a bit and somehow, without meaning to, the theme became green because of the AF chinese low cabinet which I bought from the recent CNY event.

I love my Bazar kitchens but that 2-prim kitchen from Dekute Dekore is a neccessity for a low prim 1024 sky platform. And it has interactive poses too.

The old vintage record player seemed out of place next to all the mesh items but it's nostalgic and it's a freebie on the marketplace.

The front view of the house looks like a mash-up of my Beachcomber's Cabin and Amelia's Courtyard Poolhouse and it is. I love the white brick and the blue wood and the big windows and the pergola.

Moving home from the woods to the sea

For the past 9 months, my home had been in a forest skybox. A couple of weeks ago, we moved to a 250 prim platform.

I used my own Amelia's Courtyard Pool house. I wanted a modern home with a pool. I did a little bit of editing too because we were on a sky platform. I deleted the courtyard door and walls. I also extended the deck out and put up the beach sceneries.

I also re-textured some parts of the house because by then, I had new textures to play with!

I also knocked down the wall of the bedroom. That saved me a bit on prims.

We also have a bathroom! That is one area of the house that is never used.

Most of my furnitures are from Bazar. I really love her furnitures. I think I've mentioned this before, but I'll say it again, I love the clean lines and the low prim and the affordable prize. I also used furnitures from The Loft for the living-area. All of these furnitures are low prim and this helps make our home look marvellous.

All in all, we still have 20+ prims to spare for unpacking:)

Today I went for Group gifts and dollarbies

I have not dismantled the Villa yet and it was a good spot to take pictures of my 2 favorite avatars in their pretty outfits.

Moon is ready to go dancing at the club. She is wearing sexy Alejandro, one of 2 latest group gift from Liv-Glam.

Finally, at the 24 Event, I grabbed the limited edition chair from Bazar. When I left, there was only 3 left.

It comes in 2 styles with 2 different option each, making it 4 different kinds of styles.  A very good deal.

Girl talk

The loggia of  the villa seemed like a good place to have a girl talk. Even the cats seemed to think so:)
Miel has released this Peasant Dress for FLF and of course I had to grab it before the price goes up. I tried the demo at the marketplace and then tped to the Mainstore to get it although it's also on the marketplace for 50L at the moment.
It comes with a hud with 12 different colours.

Allegra

My Italian Villa is finally done. Sometimes, after I finish building, I like to decorate the house, see how it feels like and how the furnitures fit inside the house. Sometimes I mix and match furniture from different era to get the feel of continuance.
I've pixlred my pictures to make it look artistic:)

This is my Classica Allegra Italian Villa.

Furnishings are from Depoz and Bazaar.
Plants are from Hearts Garden. The garden set by the pool is from the Dreamer's Collection which I bought from the marketplace.
