Quirky Faced Pots

The last time I wrote about the Arcade Gacha was in March. Since I spent most of my time in SL building and staring at my Kittycats, I don't have much time to shop. But, I do read the fashion and Seraphim blogs and when I saw the pictures of the Quirky Faced Pots in the Arcade Shopping Guide, I knew I would be visiting the Arcade this month. Who can resist these? I got into the Arcade a week later after all the early shoppers has had their gacha fix and the place was no longer jam packed.

Above is a picture of my Kittycats Raye and Josefina with the pots. I didn't get all of the pots but when I started getting too many doubles, I had to stop. I did get both the rares. I'll probably go back later to try get the rest. It really is irritating not to get the whole set, but I'm sure that's the whole idea of the gacha!

KittyCats and Gachas

My budget exploded this month.

Eversince I bought my first 2 costumed KittyCats, those adorable Forget Me Nots, I've become fascinated with them and I've been haunting the Kittycat markets to 'adopt' past Collectible Kitties. Most were unaffordable but when I find the ones that are within my price range, I will not resist.

I thought I was safe when I told myself  no more collectible kitties this month.

Then came The ARCADE.

I totally lost it. I'm not into gachas. I didn't even buy anything at the last ARCADE. But this month's ARCADE is interesting and I especially wanted ALL the cakes and deserts in the O.M.E.N Hansel and Gretel Fairytale Bakery Gacha and the display case which I absolutely needed to make my outdoor bakery.

When I couldn't get what I wanted, I searched for the remaining items at Gacha Markets.
In the end, I got the complete set. COMPLETE! This really was hilarious because ME having a complete set?

I got the Fairytale Bakery building from the Gacha which is a RARE but I won't be using it. Outdoor, remember. So that building will be put on sale in it's original box at my mainstore  together with other extra deserts in their to-go boxes at a resell shop I have made on the upper floor above the Kitty shop.

Then there are the Sway's cupcake Bears. I've always admired her bears and I have a few of them and when on the first attempt I got the bear with the crown, which is a RARE, I tried again and got the bear with the balloons, another RARE. The one with the Butterflies, which is also a rare, I bought from the Gacha Market because I couldn't afford to test my luck anymore.

Also in the display case are fruit pies and breads from POCHE.

My Store finally looks the way I want it to be.

I also bought a few wagons from Pilot so that my KittyCats can sleep in them:)

Arcade shopping

I made it into the Arcade..... and blew my budget eventhough I didn't stay long. Everything seemed cheap and while clicking away, I didn't realised how much I had spent! It was to be expected.
I wanted the Belleza skin and I got the rare -Belleza- Tara Arcade 3 RARE on my first attempt.

I also got the MG necklace Truth Owl Whitel, which is great because I already have the white frog and the white ladybug on previous gatchas. Moon is wearing Mayfly - Luminous - Mesh Eyes (Midnight Hazel).

Next is .Birdy. Blair skin ~Dusk~ Frost. This skin looks so much like a painting. Moon is wearing Mayfly - Luminous - Mesh Eyes (Arctic Glacier).

The final skin I got is [theSkinnery] Maya 9(champagne). I think this skin is so sweet! Eyes are from Mayfly's newest group gift, Keshie Group Gift (Liquid Light Eyes - Forest Green).

With all these skins, Moon is wearing ISON - Heidi HUD - Darks [03] hair, Miamai_XGen Lashes_Lust and I forgot to take off her moles and blusher which are from Mynerva Mole Pack V2 Tattoo Layers and .ID. Rita/Blush Pack. These are old items so I am not sure if they are still available.

I also tried my luck with Analog Dog and I got Analog Dog Hair - The Arcade - "queen" RARE. Oh boy does Moon look a lot like Carter and paired with the .Birdy. Blair skin, she does look to be on the naughty side. This hair is fun!

Some gatcha items from the Arcade

I can't believe it's already Friday!

I finally made it into the Arcade. Things were rezzing very slowly, but because I knew what I wanted, I didn't need to see what was on the gatcha machine. I just needed to know where they were. Manouvering with the help of the mini map helps me not to bump into people although if there was lag, it doesn't work sometimes.

I think they all look great.  Leila makes Moon look youthful and mature at the same time while Candy is absolutely classy. It's those red lips of course. Alice is especially adorable because of the wide-eyed innocent stare and the slightly parted lips.
