Bunny Time

Biobreed has released their beta version bunny and it's free.

There are 5 females and 5 males in the beta folder. I'm letting only 3 out because I need the space. 1 male and 2 females.

You can also hold them. Just take them back into inventory and add. You'll probably need to edit a bit like I've done.

Before birthing, the sleeping bunnies come in cute baskets. Pink blankets for girls and blue blankets for boys. Once the beta is over the bunnies will disappear. At the moment you don't have to pay to feed them so now is the time to have fun with these adorable little hoppers and not worry about your linden budget. Just worry if you have enough prims! Each bunny is 12 prims.

You can get your bunnies at the Biobreed Mainstore here. You'll also need to wear the group tag to get the bunnies. Group is free.

the Pair...finally

After what feels like forever, I finally got my pair of Silver Tobiano Snowflakes Gypsy Vanners.

They're both offsprings of Moonlight Rendezvous(pictured below) but from different mothers. They even have stars on their face which daddy doesn't have. The downside is that neither have matching mane and tails.

Breeding horses are expensive in my opinion. These beauties give birth to live foals and you can't box them and keep them in your inventory. Which means your herd will multiply exponentially and if you don't have the lindens and the prim space, you'll have to start sending them to the cloud ranch even if it breaks your heart. It's also difficult to get the traits that I want because I have no idea which are dominant and recessive.

I had to send some of my pretty Sorrel Leopard Bashir Curlies to the cloud ranch. That hurt.

But that didn't stop me from getting a pair of these starter costume horses, last year's Day of the Dead. The horse in the middle is a Lusitano with the 2014 Anniversary coat. And that KittyCat sitting on the haystack is Amos my 1368-day-old Day of the Dead kitty. They're all ready for Halloween!

The past 2 weeks Moon has been wearing last year's Halloween Gift from Coco and riding on La Bella. It was only fair to take a picture with my beloved Amos, MaryJane and Cassandra too. I had to take out the pumpkins in the crate coz MaryJane wanted to sit in it. Typical cat!

Moon and Ave Maria my Black Tovero Mustang. Today I got tired of the witchy outfit and changed into this year's Halloween Gift from Coco. Moon is also wearing leggings Neve, hair from Exile and shoes from {kokoia}.

I took the first and last picture on ultra high for the shadows while the others were on med graphics. I don't know. I kinda prefer the medium graphics.

Therein ends my non-building blogging. Have a good weekend!

a little bit Country

My little parcel is now a little ranch. The horses have out numbered the cats and the dogs. This month the Liaison Collaborative has gone Country Chic and while I was there, I bought the Dakota Bandana Top and Jacket from GO! so is the pose by [evoLove]. The hair and hat is from Argrace and the jeans from JustBecause.

Most of my kitties are now over 120 days old and no longer breedable except for the remaining 2 pairs of Toyger Tans Kittycats. Above is another pose by [evoLove] and Moon is wearing Undone Top by Neve from the same event. The hair is from Diva! and the necklace from Maxi Gossamer.

And Jinx has a texture Hud for your Water Horse Bento Riding Horse out at the Liaison Collaborative called Country Mane where the horse's mane is plaited into a diamond-shaped net. You also get to add daisies on the plaited mane and the forelock.

Pretty don't you think? In the 2 picture above, Moon is wearing the very lovely flower head accessory called Bagatiba by LODE at this month's Chapter Four. This is a Gacha item. The hair is from LittleBones and the dress is from Schadenfreude.

Here's a close-up:
I'm using eyes from Mesange, Monica skin from Deetalez, Lelutka Simone Bento Head, BentBox Sylvan Bento Ears and Maitreya Lara Mesh Body.

Wish You were Here

There were 2 reasons I braved the lag to go to this month's Gacha Garden. One was the Wish You Were Here pose set from Nantra and the other was the French Bulldog Fun in the Sun Frenchies by Jian. I wanted a companion dog which I could walk around with and I won her on the second try. The little Pug beside Moon is another companion dog by Jian I found at a flea market a while back.

Moon is also wearing the latest free group gift from COCO and the recent FLF heart necklace from Maxi Gossamer. I am a sucker for heart pendants.

Did I mention that my desktop died a month ago and I've been on a laptop since then? Which is why I haven't been building. I had ordered a new desktop but I messed up on the graphic card. My son usually does these tech things for me but since he migrated leaving us girls, I've had to figure these things with my also clueless daughters. I actually succeeded in dismantling the out of date graphic card but when I tried to install another graphic card, I found out that it was too big.... So, now I have to go find a graphic card. I might just lug the darn desktop to the shop and just ask them to fit an updated version.

Anyway, not building means I get more time to just explore SL and do shopping and spent more time with my virtual animals.

I got girls for my second round of foals. Above is a Black Percheron. She's already 6 days old

My Gypsy Vanner gave me a Piebald Gypsy Vanner filly.

My Timor Bay Pony gave birth to an Australian Pony lass. She's the chestnut coloured Pony.

And my Percheron gave birth to an Australian Stock Horse! She's another chestnut.

Another day shopping

Sometimes I get upset when I try a demo and my avatar can't fit.
This happens with dresses and hairs. I have to admit, I wanted to wear COCO's clothings so bad, I bought Maitreya's Lara mesh body. Moon is wearing COCO's Ruffled Bra Top and Linen Pants Striped Blue. I have no regrets. Bento is incredible.  Next to Moon is her bento Water Horse Jackie Maine.
Even her ears are bento from BentBox and when she walks, they 'flap' up and down. Hilarious and I love it! On the last day of Hair Fair 2017, I went out and bought Little Bones Naomi and Kendra. I had to tweak Moon's face shape so that it could fit her. Above is Moon wearing Kendra in size M 1.

Moon wearing Naomi hair in size L. The incredibly sexy top is [PUMPKIN] Ruffled Top in Salmon which I bought at Kustom9. Moon is also wearing ADDAMS Ginger Boyfriend Jeans. Around her neck is The Moon and the Stars Necklace from Maxi Gossamer.
The poses I am using are from Le Poppycock Strawberry Sky which I bought at The Chapter Four. Behind Moon is her pet Deliboz Lilith. Lilith is 240 days old. Once the horses and ponies reach 141 days old, they no longer breed and they automatically don't need food! And we don't have to give them a special potion either so that's a definitely plus for my purse. Yay!
This is the best part of the day when I can just watch the sunset and the pets. Jack my Bulldog looks so adorable sleeping on his tummy with his legs all splayed out.

my Pretties

When I am not inspired to build, I like to take pictures of my pets. Here is Moon with Jack the Bulldog and Norita the Scottish Siamese Seal enjoying a lazy Saturday in Sway's FLF Agwe Moon Chair.
Here is Moon giving Jill a little PDA. When I was getting a whole lot of dogs, I had no idea that these Bulldogs would turn out to be my favorite. They are utterly adorable to me. I've never met a real bulldog so I'm not sure if it would still be the same. I've met a real pug and I have to say, I prefer the real one than the virtual one:(

Anyway, I added 2 more horses to my 'stable'. I don't have a stable. I just leave them on a little island next to the treehouse. The white horse is a Gypsy Vanner. I had no idea that when I bought her, she has in her dropdown menu under equipment the unicorn horn. So I am overjoyed that I actually have a UNICORN! Next to her is my Plains Kaiila which I found out at the same time, also have in his equipments, spikes! Now he looks really fierce. My other new horse is the American Paint Horse. I bought him for his colourful markings and the feathers in his tail and mane.

Here is a close-up of my Gypsy Vanner and my Plains Kaiila. Beauty and Beast!

That breedable addiction

While waiting for my SL14B Zebra ponies to give birth, I went and bought horses...

Lilith is the reason I got hooked. I saw the Deliboz on display at the ABC SL14B exhibit. I was totally bowled over by her ruby scales, wings and horns. After getting comfortable with the Zebras, I went in search for the Deliboz.

Next came the Plains_Kaiila on the left, the most popular ABC horse breed. Looking at his markings and pointy ears, I can understand why. I'm mating him to the Percheron next to him. I love their braided manes.

What started with KittyCats has now spread to BioBreeds and ABC Horses. And I'm thinking I need a bigger place!

Me and my Boo.

On a day like today

Hair Fair 2017 is going on right now.

And this hair I bought from Exile at the Hair Fair which Moon is wearing seems to be all over the blogs and flickr pages. I can't blame them. I love, love, love the hairstyle too! That's Jack my grown-up Bulldog with Moon.
The top Moon is wearing is a freebie groupgift from COCO. The jeans are from Just Because which I bought from the Marketplace. It is so difficult to find a pair of straight leg non-booootilicious slightly flared pants nowadays. Moon is also wearing sandals from KOKOIA.
After the Art Museum, it was time to go riding with Jackie. Jackie is my Water Horse and she's a Bento wearable so that means you can take her anywhere and she moves and fidgets like a real horse too. She's now a white horse with blue markings that I got from Jinx at the Fantasy Collective. It's so exciting that I can also dress up my horse!
Last, here are my pink BioBreeds Boxers. I had no idea they would grow this huge! My KittyCat Ramses the Mummy wanted to be in the photo too. KittyCats just love taking pictures. Everyday they would come up to Moon and ask to have photoshoots together:)

Rainbow

Today I braved the lag again at Summerfest 2017. Yesterday I could hardly move and I gave up.

I wanted to get the DRD Boho Backyard Roarke Chair and the DRD Boho Backyard Athena Couch before I forget. I'm so glad these aren't gacha items. That said, they do go so well with my other items from past gacha events, some I bought at the events and some I bought at Flea Markets. It is so colourful it reminded me of rainbows.

My tree house is still a work in progress and this is just the sitting area. Right now I have so many breedable pets, I'm running out of prims and they're popping boxes. I told myself to stop breeding but how can I resist those cute faces!

Above are some of the costume KittyCats I have running around and my little pug is all grown up.

My baby pug.

My babies the Bulldogs.

The babies all grown up. Just look at that adorable face! I'm waiting for their box to pop out anytime now.

Zest for SLife

Eversince I upgraded Moon to bento, I feel SL rejuvenated.
Those finger movements are really something. I can't wait for fingers animating on musical instruments!

These are poses by TUTY which I bought at the eBento event.

Second Life is celebrating it's 14th birthday and of course there are hunts and freebies abound!

KittyCats Carnivalesque boy and girl kitties.

Breedable zebras from Awesome Breed Creations and a static pose horse from Elite Equestrian.

I accidentally birthed last year's SL13B Boxers instead of this year's Hush Puppies and so I decided to birth all the other BioBreed pups from previous years. The cats are going to be peeved!

I've been decorating MaryJane's Tree House on my kitties' parcel and the Polka Dots Patio Set from Chez Moi which I bought at the Cosmopolitan Event is just perfect for the deck. Even Marmalade and Amos my kitties think so:)
