It's just too difficult to come up with a title but I was thinking that these outfits I bought for Carter and Moon are just that, casual wears that suits perfectly at home and to the corner store or anywhere else.

Another meme: 42 Secondlife Groups Challenge

Wow I did another meme by Strawberry Singh.

1. Have you reached the 42 group limit? Unfortunately, yes. Maybe Linden Lab should just make it 100.
2. Do you do a lot of group hopping to keep up with all the groups you want to stay a part of? Again, unfortunately, yes.
3. What makes you want to join a group? Mostly for my own selfish reason, I want the free group gifts that comes along with being in the group. I still have a couple of groups that are no longer active in SL like Curio and Ivalde. I guess it's just sentimentality on my part.
4. A lot of store VIP groups have a group fee which you have to pay to join. How do you feel about paying group fees? I don't like that I have to pay to be in a group, but if they promise regular freebies, I can live with that. I did join a paying group recently because they were having a sale and members were getting discounts during the sale. I calculated that the discount made up for having to pay too much to be in the group.

Name a few groups that you are a part of that you feel everyone should look into joining and share your reasons behind that.  

a.~BAZAR~ Quality homes and furniture I like the clean, simple designs and low land impact of her furnitures and I want to know when she has new furnitures. 

b. Virtual Kennel Club I have a VKC bloodhound and although this group is quite chatty and I don't join the chats, it is also a wealth of information about the VKC pets. 

c. The White Armory Every week there is a free gown available for it's member and who doesn't love dressing up in period costumes? 

Happily, these groups are free to join although I think you have to have a VKC pet to join their group.

I haven't changed Moon's outfit in a couple of days. She is wearing drift from past TDR fusion. Moon and her doberman are posing infront of the almost completed Italian Villa.

Just relax

I am on a mission to shop for Carter. I've been itching to play with the shape sliders again and putting shapes on the marketplace again but Moon's inventory is already too heavy to add another 'build' category in it and I've been thinking of passing the 'job' to Carter.
It makes me giggle because men always say that women have a million alts and although I don't deny it because women are natural hoarders, I see no wrong in having multiple alts as long as it is not used negatively.
I use my alt when I want to be alone and I don't add friends on my alt.

Somehow, with Carter, I tend to have her wear very casual laidback outfits. The kind of outfits my elder daughter would wear. It will be a challenge to make mature shapes with her. Well, it is still a plan. Right now I am shopping for affordable skins. And clothes. And hair. And shoes.... the list is endless.

Linger Liv Glam Secret Wednesday

I always look forward to Liv Glam's Secret Wednesday because it's a 49L special and one of this week's offer is Linger from the K-collection. I notice that K-collection is usually more for the younger set and although in RL I am not, I love to dress my avatar young. After all, in SL, an avatar can be forever young while you're only young once in RL:)

My 'italian' villa is progressing along well. Probably it will be completed by next week.

The little white dress

For a long time, I've always went back to wearing Elate Felicity in ice dress because I love how Moon looks wearing the layered dress. Now with Cynful latest The 'Shimmy' Dress in grey, which looks similar to the Felicity dress, I will be boxing up the dress. So far, I've boxed up almost all the items from the jacket folder. Boxing is not a fast process:(

I also shortened Moon by 2 both in height and legs. There doesn't seemed to be much difference.

hunting for today's cheapies

I went looking for freebies today. After browsing the fashion blogs, I went to the Black Fair to get some poses from Purple Poses. It's been a while since I bought poses and it was time for an update.

I then tried getting the stuffs I had demoed and from this month's Collarbor88 but it was so laggy, my linden balance kept on reverting to -1L and I had to get my other avatar to pay Moon 1L to get it back to normal.

Then after I accidentally bought the wrong product, I knew I had to get out before it happen again. So that means another day for shopping those stuffs.

I love low-rise flared jeans and crop tops so this hunt item was a must for me.

Moon is wearing the latest Fameshed offering from Baiastice Crop Spaghetti Top and Denimblack Tulle skirt and past Fameshed Emery Mesh denim Jacket Hollywood. Her boots are J's Ankle Boots and I use *GF* Boots alpha instead of the old invisible prim. Her hair is from Magika Wait and her ladybird necklace is from MG.

I also demoed Glam Affair Katya and although I like it, I don't think I'll change Moon's skin for a while because I still love this Anais skin on her.
